I’d like to take a break, from three different fronts, today.

The F.A. Journal

Its history begins when I paid for it, at 2 Gold, sometime after Day 391. While in my possession, it was coupled alongside another pet-project of mine, in which I attempted to coin a different term for the citizen that was eBorn during the V1 era.

The Beta Giants were the “Native Americans”, having seen this land since the very beginning. We, however, are the First Americans. We have been given the first opportunity to follow in the Native’s footsteps and grow this nation into something great.

Of course, I had a better explanation of the whole scheme than I do now. Being an idealistic newb was easy work back then...

So that is why I have aimed away from “The Blue Angel”.

The F. A. Journal also had a sense of prestige. Yes, I used to conduct myself in a manner of nonchalant demeanor, something that I have been lacking lately. Instead of simply informing my readers, I’ve noticed that I am slowly adopting tactics of the one thing I hate most about eRep…

PEACE trolls.

So from now on, you won’t find me spewing out propaganda like some of our less-respectable PEACE friends. This IS a game and taking cheap shots at each other has become all too common lately.

I also apologize if I have personally offended any one, in-game or out. I do try my hardest to never come off as hostile, but the stress does take a toll when arguing with a citizen that doesn’t want to take the time to logically sort things out with a civilized and mildly-informed position.

I hope to reflect my reclaimed outlook in future editions of the “First American Journal”.

The Game

Although the reason behind taking a break from the game isn’t BECAUSE of the game itself (I’ve honestly been having loads of fun talking to both eAmerican and PEACE supporters, and fighting hard in these North American wars), I do feel that a moment away will definitely allow me to clear my mind and provide some better assessment of our situation upon my return.

No, I’m not leaving for good… something I almost did a month or so ago, which set me back a full point in strength. (That was a majorly bad idea! 😛)

CAMPING!!!

That’s right! I’ll be taking a short vacation away from both the game and RL to enjoy the outdoors. Technically, the trip shouldn’t be more than 4 days, but I don’t expect to be without computer access for more than 2 days, tops.

In conclusion?

Try to stay alive, eAmerica! I know I’m not a vital part to anything, really, but I want to try my hardest in keeping us united in defeating PEACE in our own lands.
