[TD] - A Beginners Guide for Gold, Bazookas and Energy Bars

Day 1,824, 07:17 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Fenyang

This article is for players who are not willing to buy lots of (or any) gold to use for fighting, companies and its many other uses. I have created this article for the purpose of sharing my thoughts about where best to use gold and how to use bazookas and energy bars for maximum result in a war.

If you are like me and will not buy gold, the only way you will get it is from medals or levelling up so you will never have much gold at your disposal. So where should I use it I hear you ask? There are a few potential places for the use of gold, such as training, companies, energy bars and so on and I believe it would be wise for players to spend their gold sparingly.

Gold

If you read my previous article you will know that using gold for the purpose of training for all of the three extra training centers will cost 2.87 gold per day, which soon stacks up in costs if you do it every day. There is also the possibility of upgrading all the buildings from Q1 to Q4 which costs 20, 70 and 170 gold respectively, so unless you are going buy gold it is unlikely that you would be able to upgrade past Q2 training facilities. Personally I would stay away from using gold to train each day, I would however, spend 20 gold to upgrade the first training center to Q2 which provides +10 strength per day rather than +5.

Then there are companies which cost to buy or to upgrade. We all start with some basic buildings but this is not really enough to earn a substantial amount so do you spend gold and buy or upgrade your company? For this I would say if you are willing to spend the majority of your gold on your company in the long run it could eventually earn you that little extra per day. I currently have one Q2 food company (costs 20 gold to upgrade to Q2) and one Q1 weapons company (costs 10 gold) with three grain fields (which every starts with), one aluminum mine (costs 10 gold), and one iron mine (provided to everyone once they complete a mission.) These give me about an extra 20GBP per day on top of my wage. Okay, so it’s not a lot but maybe in a few more months I will have a Q2 weapons factory and some more raw materials factories where I could be making 30 or 40GBP extra per day and it will soon add up.

Bazookas and Energy Bars

I am not aware of anyone else posting something like this, so I thought I would share this idea with you. If you are in a military unit you will have daily orders and once you have completed the task you get 1 energy bar and 5 bazooka parts. I assume some people will just use the energy bar straight away, and at first this is what I did, but then I had an idea; rather than just use the energy bars straight away, I will save them up. After, lets say, 20 days I will have 20 energy bars and hopefully quite a few bazookas. I believe this idea will be great for players who want to deal a good amount of damage without spending any gold. If you do your Maths right you, will know that 20 energy bars equals 2000 energy, plus 500 energy if you have a full bar, plus 500 energy you can recover with food, equals 3000 energy. Combined this with bazookas and high quality weapons (that a good military unit should provide) and you can deal some damage. You could argue this idea is not worth it because you have to wait 20 days, or 30 days, or how many days you wish to wait while collecting bazooka parts and energy bars however if you are not willing to spend money to buy gold what other choice do you have?

I hope this article has provided you with some information about where to spend your gold you earn from medals and level ups for maximum effect, as well as hoping that the bazooka and energy bar idea for fighting will appeal to some players.
