Dear Belgians and others, this issue is published in advance because of new improvements and the recent change in international politics, after Romania signed MPPs with Serbia and several other TWO countries.

Three news in this special issues.
Let's go with the most important one.
First news
The first news is a statement of aVie about this newspaper. For the people who don't know him (impossible), aVie is the administrator of the eRepublik statistics site egov4you.info
Well, the Big Red Express is one of aVie's favourite newspapers!!!!
Who cares about the Media Mogul Medal, when the current master of eRepublik statistics reads your newspaper?

Second news
The second news is an improvement of the MPPs net, I decided to use another algorithm to measure the distances between eCountries.
With the old method, only the number of the MPPs where considered in drawing distances.
So that, a MPP with Serbia or with Singapore had the same weight. Countries with a lot of MPPs where put in the center of the clusters, countries with less MPPs where put on the borders.
With the new method, also the damage output of a country will be considered in the drawing. Having MPPs with stronger countries will put an eCountry in the middle, and clusters of eCountries will form around the biggest eCountries.
Day 1977 MPPs situation
Old Method
New Method
As you see, the main difference is the position of Russia.
Russia shares MPPs with both CoT countries and Asgard-proEDEN countries. With the old method you can see Russia equidistant between CoT and EDEN.
Actually the CoT allies of Russia are a lot stronger than its Asgard allies, so, with the new method, Russia is properly sited next to CoT countries.

Third news
The third news is that, for this week, I will not publish an alliance bar.
The Romanian new alliance system with TWO countries, and the refusal of several CoT countries to sign MPPs with Romania's new allies, make sensless to draw a bar where two sides (CoTWO and EDEN) fight against each other.
Maybe next week the picture will be clearer.
Despite this, I inform you that aVie decided to use the weighted influence statistics also is in egov4you (look here:http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/2251806/1/20).
Weighted influence is a modified stat that takes into account that in the new War Module one single point of influence in lower divisions has actually more military value than in higher ones.
egov4you.info uses percentage points, I use damage points, but the reasoning behind it is the same.

MPPs graphs
In day 1984 the number of MPPs is stable at 295; 1 MPP less than in day 1977.
On the left there are CoT (light blue), TWO (violet) countries and ex-CTRL (red) countries, with some other countries.
On the right we have EDEN (dark green) and Asgard (yellow) countries, and some others.
Ex-TERRA countries (light green) and ex-EDEN (orange) are on both sides.
The Non-Aligned Nations (which grew to 3 members and 3 trials) in brown.
7 small nations are without MPPs: United Arab Emirates, Slovakia, Norway, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Denmark (which is in union with Germany).
As announced, big changes in the MPPs net this week.
Last week, the only important MPP between the CoTWO side and the EDEN side was the USA-Albanian MPP. In addition to this, only Russia had meaningful MPPs with Asgard countries (Finland and Sweden) and Ireland.
This week, the picture changed a lot: Romania exited EDEN and started signing MPPs with TWO countries (Serbia, Poland, United Kingdom and Slovenia). Despite this, Romania continues to remain in the pro-EDEN side, as it has a lot of MPPs with the former EDEN allies.
But we had major changes in the structure of both the CoTWO cluster and the EDEN cluster.
In the CoTWO cluster, TWO countries moved from the extreme left to the lower side of the cluster, looking towards Romania. Because of the cessation of some CoT-TWO MPPs, the TWO countries appear concentrated tighter in their subcluster.
In the EDEN cluster, we may see three different subclusters.
An upper cluster, where there are Asgard and pro-Asgard/CUA neutral countries; a middle cluster, made of the countries which remained in EDEN; and finally a lower cluster with Romania and the other two countries which left EDEN in the last week: Taiwan and Colombia.
On the extreme right we find the Non-Aligned Nations, because they share MPPs with EDEN cluster's countries, but not with either TWO or CoT
