Hello Belgium!

The article before you will detail my plans for if I’m elected as President, today's topic is Foreign Affairs/Defence which at this stage, I think are both at a very high standard.


Belgium at the moment, (Day 1409)

Defence

As you can see from the picture above, Belgium is always surrounded by war and Poland but only very rarely have we been involved in much of these wars directly and that is because Belgium is a neutral country and I will continue this choice during my entire term.

Belgium is, I suppose “friends” with a lot of other nations. We aren't allies but we are always available for them to sign a Mutual Protection Pact with us at any time. As we wish to continue our neutral thinking and alliance choice we've signed many MPPs with other nations. From the USA, to Venezuela, to the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Belgium wishes to have battles available without having to move to either, the United Kingdom, Germany or France so I hope to continue MPPs as above to make sure the battles keep coming through.

Foreign Affairs

Belgium is a very cultural country, we have people from the UK, America, France and Australia so its vital that we show the appreciation of different cultures by returning the Ambassadorship program again. Some time in the past, the program was shut down with reasons undisclosed but some people I've known of have still said they are an Ambassador of a country when the program isn't even running.

The Ambassador program is an excellent way to keep in touch with some citizens original country origin as well as other countries in Europe and the New World. I have full faith that my Foreign Affairs team will be able to restart the program. I also plan for messages to be sent out to other countries showing our cabinet on the first day of our presidential term.

I think these little ideas will help the country gain friends, possible MPPs in the future and even attract other users to Belgium to contribute their opinions and suggestions. I know this may be a lot to take in at this stage but I'll be releasing a Summary on the 2nd October which will state everything and anything you wish to know about my term.
