story in erepublik ,for first time!

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.
The first day, the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.
He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Finally the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper. The days passed and the boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said, “You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.
You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.”

Nice story... : )
But positively, those wounds on the fence will also reflect the years of worn and usage. Those fence now, is more "rich" because of the wounds.
Just like a human, we are "rich" because of what we have gone through. Years of easiness will do no good on human, they will be very "plain".
nice story line.. more story please.. 😛
Why nobody has ever told me Zyleris is a poet?
I'd just like to comment about the methodology implanted in the father's educative morale. At a glance, it seems like he was suggesting to release the energy upon something else. Much like modern people way of life, go partying and concert gigging to throw away the stress.
On the other hand, if we care to compare, the old men of wisdom were suggesting pretty much like Zyleris perspective upon the fence. A good person should have strength to withstand the nailing after nailing. Not that we are emotionally containing the anger, but need to have a lot of patience in dealing with it.
Even more, once the prophet was asked, "Which is better, patience or endurance?". He said, "Endurance".
your welcome! my friends 😉

I'm loving the deep analysis of this tale. eMalaysia has surely some philosophers.
For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness.
If you kick a stone in anger, you'll hurt your own foot. ~Korean Proverb
