[Spam] Policy Giveaway - TW Action Plan!

Citizens!

Over the past few weeks we have seen the conflict in South America impact the eUK in a couple of ways. We have had to close one Training War and we were subject to a Declaration of War by North Macedonia, who were not happy that we didn’t RW our South American possessions quickly enough.

Following on from the closure of the TW TRS has noted that its members and the wider public are beginning to face challenges in finding battles to drop damage in, and are finding fewer rounds in which they can earn medals without disturbing others. There are some short and mid-term steps we think should be taken to ensure eUK citizens have room for training and developing their rank.

In true TRS Spirit we are sharing our 7 point plan to turnaround this decline! (Another policy giveaway!)

TW Action Plan!

At the time of writing we have no Minister of Foreign Affairs, a bare-bones Ministry of Defence, and this morning we had as few as eight active battles. Some times it is less, and of course sometimes it is more, but a cohesive strategy is something we now need to focus on.

We propose the following steps are taken:

- For CP’s of the eUK and its TW partners to trigger battles faster without waiting for them to automatically start (when it is appropriate to do so)! eRep calls it initiative - so let's show some!

- For occupying partners to be deployed in such a way to maximise borders and reduce queues - for example Bulgaria currently being in Wales means the eUS and eLT TW’s rely on the same region for battles (which effectively halves the maximum number of battles we can get from those TWs). Similarly for TWs that involve the UK holding regions abroad to be considered preferable.

- The CP needs to identify a MoFA or cross-resource the Ministry with existing Cabinet members. Reader! Feel free to volunteer if you are willing to help in the comment section below!

- Likewise for the Ministry of Defence to be expanded for better coordination and for the CP to review suggestions made by the public for clearer ways orders can be communicated!

- The Regions, Neighbours, and Partners appraisal proposed by Betafoxtrot should be implemented to rapidly determine where new TWs will come from and to have some options in the back pocket for a rainy day.

- The Speaker should open a thread on the feeds for Congress to discuss TW opportunities and to proactively identify TW options pre-endorsed by Congress.

- Congress and the Government should jointly commit to having at least double digit training wars whenever practical!

Let’s get the wheels back on!

We wait whilst some wars could have battles triggered right now... if we were proactively pursuing them. Recent region swapping in the UK means the eUS and eLithuanian Training Wars are now both reliant on one region (South West of England) to be triggered - that is not efficient! We should work with partners to keep on top of triggering battles rather than letting them auto-start, and likewise be conscious of where partners are deployed whilst looking to deploy abroad ourselves.

The implementation of this plan would serve as a three-pronged approach to preserving our ability to fight and rank up. Firstly more turnover of battles to ensure better coverage/exploitation of our training arrangements. Secondly active Diplomacy to identify potential and future TW partners, and thirdly a proactive Ministry of Defence playing a key role in funnelling people toward the right battles and making sure fighting criteria reflects the battles on offer.

Hopefully the President will adopt this strategy to overcome the dip in active battles.
