Hello friends & enemies o/ how are y'all doing? how is the wife, kids & goats doing? 😃
Today i won my 100 Sky Hero medal, ofc i had to fight for it with some dude... that made me think - it's time to make an article myself about these guys, who just seems to have no respect for their fellow players.
the rules of engagement are pretty simple in my view:
# THE SCOREBOARD - there is a point in the start of the fight, when damage is updated and shown for the 1st time (2nd time can also count if 2 players are close in dmg) - THAT IS THE TIME TO STOP! your fire if you are not the leader of the board, and you did not deal the most damage so far!
# BOOSTERS - and i'm not talking about the x2 booster, i'm talking about players that hit from the start using x5 boosters... well let me tell you something, that act can have two types of responses - there are players who have nothing against this use of x5 booster, they will back down. but there are also quite a few SH hunters who see this kind of use of boosters at the start of air round as a trigger to "educate" the booster user & take the medal. especially very strong players with lot's of ff use this tactic.
I personally don't justify them at all, or any kind of bullying players - but there are exceptions for every "rule" - today as i told you i took my 100 SH but had to fight for it - this was one of those cases when a player using x5 booster was punished by me because he didn't know when to stop.
i also sent him PM, before starting to use my extra bars & taking my SH back - i must also point out, in case it's not clear from the screen pics, i was shown has leader in damage on the board first with 17k+ and also 2nd time with 40k+... only when i stopped for a few seconds to refuel my ff, i was topped in the damage table by dear MR. x5 booster - then i sent him PM.
## notice that i don't use x5 booster & i always keep a few for a hard day! there where also 2 very stronger SH hunters & they started shooting with me at the start - but they saw i was leading and stopped, you know why? cause they have honor, i will never take medal from them, not because they are more stronger then me, but because they don't use their power on the expense of others!
every time i see one of you guys take a SH medal i'm happy for you, today iv'e seen that my honor for you was replied with honor back, if you guys make it to cyprus, i will give you many free goats xD

btw, this was the end result, i didn't mean to add this guy to my list, but the last answer in our PM is clearly a stupid lie, so he goes on the list, didn't even answered my last comment, so i guess he doesn't like goats, or weed

lol, the first time a scoreboard updates, then you must stop, sometimes before my battlepage reloads without the 'Next Battle' button the nex battle might already be running for 20 seconds 🙂
when at home, on my linux pc, 90% of the time one click is one hit, on my smartphone or workpc that's 2-3 hits per click, meaning I shouldn't even attempt to start hitting for anything anymore?
it's not written in iron mate, ofc there are times when these facts are not all that counts... but yes for me the rule is stop if i'm not leading.
about reload problem with air rounds, ofc i know it, i had some of those happen to me as well... so answering your question - yes. you shouldn't hunt for SH when connected via mobile or other weak forms... i don't do that so if you choose to do it, you take the risk... we can always get some TP damage, or get more flags for mercenary or even just make 25/50/75 kills for ff medal.
you have more than one way to plan you ff in a way that can give you full ff in times of good internet connection > and hunt for SH 🙂

all on the same internetconnection, but the linux one 90% of the time I get 1 hit per click, meaning to do my damage I want to takes like forever 😛
well you do know that linux is faster in many more aspects, it sound logical to me that you will not suffer from those "lags" using linux - windows was never to smart on using resources 🙂

I have a list too, I believe that every decent SH hunter has a stealer's list!
it could be funny making a sheet with those lists... i'm sure that 90% of the names will appear once or twice... but some names will standout 😃
not funny at all, definitely some names will be same and for sure these guys need a lesson that's why they are on these lists!
Also, I notice that most high air rank citizens respect the "scoreboard 1st" rule and that's a good think.
i stop when i see i'm not leading, and also if a "lag" makes you go in 2nd, then that's ok, i just use that point to make 25/50/75 kills for ff, or take one more flag for mercenary... it's not the end of the world if i miss a medal, i can always wait 30 minutes and have full ff again 🙂
you know, we can make a project about it... like the "me too" thing - if ppl have screen pics (proof in fact) then we can cross all those names that have "to many shows" on those screen pics... that can give us some kinda of certainty that ppl don't just use the list to trash other players.

I mean...I find myself in his shoes quite often (this comes from a dude that had his biggest erepublik fail recently because of a SH...SabreHawk probably still laughs at it as we speak), but I can also relate to you
for me, it's quite simple. I check if I know him and check if he is in my friends list...and it stops there
then, depending on the beers on board (much like I had some now fighting with/against TEPAR MKD), I decide on how many EBs am I willing to spend 🙂
The one thing I hate(d) is(was) those stinger bastards and for those, I empty my vaults
those F stingers man, in fact the hole event/10th Bday thing took me financially back maybe 2 years, the quantities of food and weapons burned 🙁
ofc as you wrote, there is also a giant number of medals I didn't even try to take cause every second some goddamn multi jumped in with these damned stingers... i feel you, really i do.
hehe, it was expensive as hell, but tell you what...that tournament was the most delightful way of going bankrupt. I'd do it again any day (and this comes from a guy that awaits the death of erepublik with great enthusiasm)

thx for puting me in the good side. There is a lot of people with honor in aircraft, and some people who have to learn the rules. I can't blame them because when i started to fight in aircraft, i used also X5 booster. And like you, i gave a lesson today to a player who have only 20 SH and thought he can take my SH if he started to fight when i was at 85k.
x5 booster for air round is so NOT, i mean i keep it for big real fights of cyrpus or allies, use them for epics on week change when i'm working... you know?

I'm sorry for my English. I say you would win the SH, the first to shoot. It does not matter what harm you can do
ofc in the case shown up here, i was "first" all the way up to 40k+ even not using booster, and that guy didn't hit on the start with me and some others, but a few seconds later and with x5 on.
for me, for me alone yes? the rule is not to keep firing if i see i'm not leading... if i see that i'm 2nd, close to someone - i stop and i check my black list if the player leading is in there... but i stop, i stop because i don't care about stupid stories about internet connections and lags (i also have those, so what?) if by some way i'm not leading - i stop.
and why would i go on? just waste ff? if the guy is in my list i will come back for him in the end of round, if not - i can make 25/50 kills and wait some for ff to fill up, then hunt again.

against who? i don't think so... i'm sure this happen to many many players, i for one send PM to ppl and try to talk first, some times i learn that i'm wrong and that i missed something (you make friends that way 2) but some time ppl just dig up the hole themselves, then jump in crying for help...
it's their choice, what can I do about it? live and let live, we all make mistakes and we all can choose to take responsibility, or not.
No "against who" it's for who, who ever feel they are entitled for something (SH) or it's theres by default....
