[SFP4Congress] Something Old, Something New

Day 2,987, 13:04 Published in USA USA by Illiguy

It's no secret that Congress has been, well, less than vibrant lately. The tax rate hasn't been voted on, no one's been blacklisted, no one's been impeached, no clenching of fists, no gnashing of teeth. In some ways that's a good thing. After the turmoil and animosity of December, the sudden quiet of January has likely come as a relief to some.

I think we can all say it's time to spice things up again and SFP will help jolt you out of your midwinter slumber. Our primary vote has concluded and we have a congressional roster with something for everyone. We've got a great mix of blockbuster names, SFP stalwarts, and eRep veterans. If you look further down the ballot, you'll find a crusty collection of the eUSA's favorite senior citizens. That's right America, get SFP the votes to send those Old Fu-ks to Congress!

"Yeah, yeah, we've got the old, what about the new?" Our domestic politics have become stale at best, and bitter, entrenched or even vindictive at worst. One thing's for certain: something's gotta give. The SFP Revolutionary Committee is cooking up some interesting ideas for presentation to Congress, and the party membership is gearing up for another draft of the Party Program. Watch this space, America, and be sure to vote SFP for something old and something new on the 25th!
