[Russian MUs vol.1] Phoenix

This article is going to be one of few, in a series of articles in which I want you to present Russian best and oldest eRepublik military units. We will be talking to their commanders.

In this article, we are starting with Phoenix MU, and its commander Kentavr



1. Zvezda TV: What can you tell to the readers about yourself? Who is Kentavr?

I live in Russia, Khabarovsk. It's in Far Eastern Russia, that not so far from Japan. We have GMT+10 timezone and a lot of snow. Some info you can find in Wiki: https://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/Kentavr

2. Zvezda TV: How long have you been the commander of Phoenix, and who was the commander before you?

I have been the Commander of Phoenix Academy since 4th April 2012. And de jure I became the Commander of Phoenix Elite Squad in 2014, but de facto I have been the Commander since the end of 2012. Our Commander before me was Sniper48, Sodiaan and Demios II. Great people.

3. Zvezda TV: How long ago was Phoenix created? Why the name "Phoenix"?

At the day 602. There is a long story, you can read it in the our Anniversary article "🙂"
About the name... I guess that because many other Military Units was burned before unite in on great MU Phoenix that has been rised.

Long story short. Our MU have a very long and brave history.
At the day 2428 we had celebrated our 5th Anniversary an had created an article with names, numbers and many of history. Because of eRep doesn't allow to edit old articles, this one doesn't aged well and pictures are lost, but you still can read it (erepublik.com/en/article/2415982)

We have had 3 MUs: Phoenix, Phoenix Academy and Phoenix Graveyard.

4. Zvezda TV: Who where the founding fathers of Phoenix? Can you name some of the most valuble Phoenix members?

There are a lot of names of Old Phoenix.
In new Era...
Sniper48, Sodiaan, Demios, Ivan.Kab, ArtGal, Arar Baker, Es Guile, simust2 and many-many others. It can be long list for entire new article.

5. Zvezda TV: How many members did Phoenix had at its peak?

We have never chased quantity, compensating for everything with quality. But we had about a hundred or two people in several MUs.

6. Zvezda TV: The year is 2023, 16 years of eRepublik. How is Phoenix doing? Do you guys use some app for communication?

Yes, we still have chats and channels in Telegram. We have connect even with those, who left the game years ago. Sometimes we meet in RL if it possible.

7. Zvezda TV: You are an invite only unit, do you accept new members?

Nope, we are closed for recruitment now, but we can accept new members if they really want be a part of our MU.

8. Zvezda TV: How do you see eRussia today and what will happen in the game in future?

Oh, that a quite hard question. I don't even see bright future for eRepublik if it won't start change...
In eRussia everything is as good as it can be. We have allies, we have friends, regions and even Congress, despite all the efforts of anti-Russian nationalists and the entire alliance. A lot of people have left, so it’s especially fun now to understand that it took all the anti-Russian nationalists, Ukraine and the whole alliance more than a year and a half to take over all our regions, although we didn’t even really resist.
