In the history of nations, there are countless statements which have taken on greater significance with time. In the USA people say Remember the Alamo. In France, it is the Storming of the Bastille, in Canada it is Vimy Ridge and in Australia and New Zealand, it is the term Gallipoli.

In the New World, the nation of eNZ has gained a new phrase that will be remembered by future citizens. Remember Otago has now entered the lexicon of eNZ folklore and history. Enshrining itself to all Kiwis.


What took place in Otago from May 15-16 was a seminal event in our nations young history. Citizens stood proud as we defended our last region from the onslaught of the eChilean forces.

Countless numbers of Kiwis, of all political stripes and national backgrounds, united together in defense of our great land. The battle was long, it was massive and it showed that collectively, eNZ is a force to be reckoned with.

What this battle did most of all was provide a future to all the Kiwis of our nation. It ensured that our "original" regions will remain in the hands of us Kiwis. We have ensured that future generations of Kiwis will be able to live in their regions without the stain of occupation. They will always say Remember Otago


To all the soldiers and citizens who fought for our nation during these dark times, words cannot express the admiration that you are now held within our nation. The sacrifice you made in the name of eNZ and our citizens will be passed down in the annals of history (in this case, the NZ wiki).

There are too many people to thank, the soldiers from eNZ, from our allied nations and the many citizens who worked at "military" companies to help us stock our weapons. Know that these sacrifices were done in the name of liberty and freedom. That all the damage attained and money spent was for the right of every Kiwi to play and live in their own regions. For these we shall always say, Remember Otago.


In closing, this is a photo of a valley from Otago. This is where our battle was fought and where the freedom of eNZ was secured. It is here that countless individuals put their in-game health on the line and paused from their daily routines to fight for our national sovereignty.

As we look towards the future, we must always remember what happened here and the possibilities that this has brought. The future of our nation is bright and for that we will say thank you and also, always Remember Otago.
