[QN] It's been a while...

It's been a while I haven't written any article..... And I miss it....

It's also been a while I haven't been into Congress.... And I also miss it...

This is why I am now writing an article to announce my running for Congress this December 25th in British Columbia, Canada with EPIC.

Who am I?
I was eBorn 2 1/2 years ago. I used to be 9 times congressman in Quebec. Then I became CSIS Director, and haven't been into Congress for a year more or less. Some would say I'm a veteran.

Why am I running?
Because I am a veteran....

Let me explain this to you:

I remember Congress as a place where great minds would come along, and discuss motions and laws for the good of the society.
I remember Congress as a place where people would respect each other, respect one's background and experience, respect his point of view.
I remember Congress as a place where expert's opinions were taken into consideration, where congressmen sought advice from other citizens when they were hesitating.
I remember Congress as a place where various matters were discusse😛 from economy to diplomacy to society and heritage matters, as a place for which a campaign agenda was the access key.
I remember Canada as a country of solidarity, of friendship, of patriotism, a country that welcomed refugees, that defended vulnerable countries, a country that gave second chances.

However...
I now see Congress as a place where parties clash, where personal interests conflict with matters discussed, where businessmen lobby, and ends up nowhere.
I now see Congress as a place where Speaker has to close and restart several threads because of congressmen insulting and assaulting each other
I now see Congress as a place where ego-centric people gather, thinking everything revolves around Congress, which has become despotic.
I now see Congress as a place where the only matters discussed are war (and economy) matters
I now see Canada as a country where most care for themselves, run after money and gold, where the military has to struggle and compete with an unaccountable government-funded private militia, where the secret service has to do everything alone while the government doesn't look after her, a country where there are no second chances.

And by running for Congress, I hope to fix some of those problems, and fight the corruption in the government.
I hope that newcomers will once again see Congress as a place to aspire, as an important step in their political careers.
I hope that newcomers will once again see Congress as a place to meet, discuss, and vote, while respecting others
I hope that newcomers will once again see Congress as a place to serve the people, and not themselves, and still be part of the people.
I hope that newcomers will once again see Congress as I once saw it.
I hope that newcomers will once again see Canada as the place to be.

Thank you,
