*PROPOSITION* Förberedelse för V1: Construction

BAKGRUND

För cirka tre veckor sedan annonserade admins att alla arbetares skillnivåer kommer att omvärderas. I V1 kommer de delas upp i två industrier:

Construction: Housing, hospitals och en ny produkt.
Manufacturing: Weapons, food, gifts och moving.

Totalt antal anställda: 1577.
Antal anställda inom construction: 476 (~30😵
Antal anställde inom manufacturing: 1101 (~70😵

Construction kommer vara eftertraktat - detta baserar jag på två fakta:

1) Construction är underrepresenterad gentemot manufacturing.

2) En ny produkt kommer att finnas i construction-industrin. Ingen vet ännu vad denna produkt kommer att vara, men antagligen något som liknar hospitals och housing.

Det bästa för en arbetare vore alltså att söka sig till en bransch där han/hon ökar sin Construction-skill.

FÖRSLAG

Staten borde uppmuntra arbetare att söka sig till yrken inom construction. Hur gör man då detta på bästa sätt? Mitt förslag, genom den redan statligt kontrollerade sjukhusproduktionen. För att göra sjukhusbranschen större måste den bli attraktivare för arbetarna.

Till att börja med föreslår jag att vi höjer de nuvarande arbetarnas löner på statsföretaget Svenska Sjukhus Q4 enligt följande (skill följt av lön):

4.0 - 9 SEK.
5.0 - 10 SEK.
6.0 - 11 SEK.

Detta är mer än vad en Manufacturing-arbetare i ett Q4-företag tjänar, enligt ungefärliga marknadsmässiga löner. Syftet är att locka tillbaka de sjukhusarbetare som tidigare arbetat inom branschen, men sökt sig till andra branscher på grund av den låga lönen. Modellen lockar även nybörjare att ge sig in i branschen från första början - det måste finnas lukrativa framtidsvisioner inom branschen!

Samtidigt måste vi erbjuda generösa löner inom Svenska Sjukhus Q1, enligt följande:

1.0 - 2 SEK.
2.0 - 3 SEK.
3.0 - 5SEK.

Vi bör även ha effektiva och aktiva chefer på Svenska Sjukhus Q1, med uppgift att anställa så många nya arbetare vi bara kan. Allt detta för att förbereda vårt land inför den kommande bristen inom construction. Det vore inte heller fel om arbetare inom överbefolkade och lågavlönade branscher, så som Food, sökte sig till hospital-sektorn för att skaffa sig en attraktiv skill inom Construction.

Om vi inte redan nu gör construction attraktivt, utan väntar tills V1 införs, kommer vår nationalekonomi att lida - och alla medborgare med den. Olika scenarion vi kan vänta oss om vi inte förbereder oss:

* Bristen på construction-produkter kommer att vara påtaglig. Priserna kommer därmed bli skyhöga och kan skada vår ekonomi.

* Efterfrågan på construction-arbetare kommer driva upp lönerna till orimliga summor. Löneskillnader branscher emellan kommer att bli stora och därmed skapa ekonomiska klyftor i samhället.

* Andra länder kan vara bättre rustade än Sverige när det gäller construction. Detta skulle innebära att vi inte klarar av att vara självförsörjande, utan konkurreras ut av utländska krafter. Stora mängder gold skulle föras ut ur landet och göra oss fattigare som nation. Om Sverige däremot skulle vara ledande inom construction, skulle vår export öka markant och vi skulle bli en ännu större ekonomisk kraft.

Vi i FBS anser att blandekonomi är den rätta vägen att gå. Vi står för en fri marknad med vettiga statliga interventioner. Vi vill ha ett ekonomiskt starkt Sverige. Vi vill förbereda oss för framtiden. För att Sverige ska behålla sin framstående ekonomiska position inom Erepublik krävs att detta förslag genomförs.

PROPOSITION: Preparation for V1: Construction

Ziggyzag (FBS) has brought forward a proposition regarding V1, for the government to vote about.

Background

Around three weeks ago the admins announced that all workers’ skill levels will be re-evaluated. In V1 they will be divided into two industries:

Construction: Housing, hospitals and one new product.
Manufacturing: Weapons, food, gifts and moving.

A few days ago, the talented Kape collected numbers on workers in each industry.

Total number of employees: 1577.
Employees in construction: 476 (~30😵
Employees in manufacturing: 1101 (~70😵

Construction will be sought after – this I base on two facts:

1) Construction workers are few, compared to manufacturing. If the workers will need skill in construction to extract a certain raw material, there will be a huge demand for these workers.

2) A new product will be available in the construction industry. So far, nobody knows what it will be, but it’s likely to be something similar to hospitals and housing.

The best for a worker would be to find a job in a sector where he/she increases his/her construction skill. Easier said than done.

Proposition

The state should encourage workers to find a job within construction. How do you do this in the best way, then? My proposal, through the already governmentally controlled hospital production. To make the hospital sector bigger it needs to be more attractive for the employees.

For starters I propose that we raise the current employees’ salaries, on the governmental company Svenska Sjukhus Q4 as follows (skill followed by salary):

4.0 - 9 SEK.
5.0 - 10 SEK.
6.0 - 11 SEK.

This is more than what a manufacturing worker in a Q4 company makes, based on average market salaries. The purpose is to entice workers, who have previously worked for a hospital company, but left due to low pay, to come back to the industry. The model does also entice beginners to enter the sector from the beginning – there has to be a lucrative future within the sector!

We also have to offer generous salaries in Svenska Sjukhus Q1, as follows:

1.0 - 2 SEK.
2.0 - 3 SEK.
3.0 - 5 SEK.

We should also have efficient and active General Managers on Svenska Sjukhus Q1, with the task of hiring as many new workers as we can. All this is to prepare our country for the upcoming lack of construction workers.


If we don’t make construction attractive right now, but wait until V1 is launched, our national economy will suffer – and all citizens with it. Scenarios we can expect if we don’t prepare:

1. The lack of constuction products will be evident. Prices will rise very high and may hurt our economy.

2. The demand for construction workers will force salaries to unreasonable figures. Differences in salary between industries will be big and create economic rifts in the society

3. Other countries may be better prepared than Sweden, when it comes to construction. This would mean that we won’t be self-sufficient, but be forced out of business by foreign companies. Large sums of gold would be extracted from the country and make us poorer as a nation. On the contrary, if Sweden would be a leading force in construction, our export would heavily increase and we would be an even larger economic power.

We in FBS believe that a mixed economy if the right path to walk down.
Wes tand for a free market with sensible state interventions.

We want an economically strong Sweden. We want to prepare for the future.
