O hai there!

It's been a very long time since I have been a Party President, but I'm pretty sure I remember how to do the job. (If I don't, expect a raving lunatic running around the halls of myucp screaming her head off.)

I want to first say thank you to all of the people out there who voted for me. I know I didn't really put out a campaign schpiel or do anything to win your support on this occasion, so it means a lot to me to know that all of you think so highly of me. There's a part of myself that still can't believe how many people look up to me and agree with what I say. It's a bit surreal really.

Secondly, I want to announce my Vice President of the UIP, Ansen. It is hard these days to find a person as talented, dedicated, and full of win as Ansen. He is someone who I have grown to admire and respect from his work in the Halls of Congress and his lulzworthy interactions with the citizens of this nation. I can think of no person better suited to help make this party even more awesome than it already is.

This term, he and I will be working on promoting the benefits of UIP members by spreading the word of the UIP! Among other things, we will work on defining the party, updating the wiki, and strengthening programs. It's too bad we have to call ourselves centrist libertarians because if the rules allowed it we would be a Totalitarian Monarchy.

It's time for me to get some shut eye...I have a busy term ahead of me!
