[Presidents Desk] Announcements & Update for the day(1722)

There were 3 quick laws proposed and passed by the congress.
These were:
1. A renewal of MPP with Argentina. - This wasnt too difficult, we had an MPP with them and this was just renewing it. Eventually this was the first MPP proposal for me. So thank you guys.

2. Import Taxes on Weps and Food - These were passed with overwhelming majority. Our country has barely 60% bonus against other countries who have 100% bonus. So company owners and businessmen in India are destinied to suffer in the world market and would never be able to compete with them. So we agreed to increase the import tax from 1% to 10%. In fact I(personally) would like to see it higher to make it fair for the eIndian businessmen.

We will very shortly come out with an whitepaper to highlight the current state of our income vs expenditure. We are of the opinion that certain tough decisions might be in order to survive int he long term

We have setup a new room(IRC Channel( for all eIndians to feel free to come in and find any of the SOP or government official with OP to ask and clarify any question you might have or let us know your ideas and suggestions. We will try to make sure that one of us is always present there. Of course this is in addition to the forum we have where you are always welcome.
