[Presidential Statement] MPP with Turkey

Dear fellow citizens,
I just proposed a MPP with Turkey and included this article as debate area. The reason for that is that our forum (www.enetherlands.nl) is currently down and this proposal can’t wait.
Due to the ongoing conflict in Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria the War Games (WG) will not resume anytime soon. Seeing that our only MPP is with Russia we cannot expect any other battles from other means. That is why I propose this MPP with Turkey.
The MPP with Turkey will provide us with the opportunity to get battles seeing Greece has recently been attacking. Just an opportunity not a guarantee but we will be able to provide Turkey with support while Hungary and co are otherwise occupied.
The cost will be limited because we don’t have to pay for the WG so it will maybe cost us 60 gold (100-40 of the WG). We have sufficient gold so that shouldn’t be a reason to object.
I am certain the new chosen Congress is able to make the right decision.

Ps MPP with Austria was rejected because Austria wants to try and be neutral so it was their choice to make and not PHX their fault.

MPPs cost 100 GOLD. Normally, we would have spend 40 GOLD on the WG.
However, the MPP still costs 100 GOLD then... not 60... 😛
But despite that, I'm supporting this MPP. Turkey has been an ally for long, so helping them out is always good. Plus, we can get some XP and rank by being able to fight. 🙂
i would rather have seen an mpp with hungary then turkey.
and i certainly dont like how this was decided now when forum is down.
also i have serious doubts about the financial consequences.
@Antiko Hungary is on the offense so signing a MPP didnt make sense because it wouldnt be activated. If i had waited any longer on proposing we wouldnt be having a fight tonight.
As far as the financial consequences i think we can manage with 1k of gold in DNB and much more in other orgs/accounts
