[President] NAP between Finland and Sweden and the liberation of Gotaland
Valnad
Been a few days since my last update, but we've been busy getting new personell to the military HQ and removing some of the old staff. I will release a full coverage on the current staff and what the progress have been in the departments tomorrow.
But now, let's cover today's two top headlines:
1. Peace with Finland
I have recently signed a NAP proposal together with Fettis, the President of Finland. Their congress has passed the agreement and it's currently being voted for in our Swedish "Riksdag". The votes are currently 6 in favor and 1 against. I'll get back to you with the final results tomorrow, when the vote has finished.
2. Liberating Gotaland from Russia
Tonight we've decided to move some forces to Gotaland and push the Russians out of our core region, hopefully for good. They don't need the raw material that Gotaland provides them with, and they're busy celebrating New Year's (most Russians are orthodox). And to put it mildly, I'm sick and tired of having them occupying our territory.
We've offered Russia a peaceful solution, but they wanted to keep both Scania and Smaland, which we of course could not accept. So Gotaland will be taken by force, no matter if it will take me all night to send out the supplies to the soldiers.
We have recently helped ABC to get rid of Romania, and sent our support to ONE countries in need of liberation.
This is one of the moments when they'll have a chance of paying us back. So far, after our MoFA wasted most of his stash turning the first mini-battle into victory (you should've seen it, he went berserk) we've had lots of support from ONE during battle 2 and 3. So we're about to get a 2-1 score now and chances are very good for us winning the next few battles as well, if Cake is willing.
So stick together, and keep your spirits up!
I promised to restore peace in our region and get our own regions back this month, and I have not forgotten, we've just waited patiently for the right moment to strike and now it has come.
Let's celebrate the orthodox New Year's with a blast!
Yours gracefully,
Valnad,
President of Sweden

Nu sparkar vi ut ryssen!
Good news
The RW went off to a flying start, but now Rubotia found some mastercards on new years day and decided to tank away. 5-1 suddenly became 5-3 and it's about team for Sweden and her allies to wake up from their slumber and put a few nails in this coffin.
Perttamisholast! 😃
Good plan! o7
tell me moar

Please come back when you can fight without using bots. Then we'll see who trolls who.
Well, now I see that your military skills are on the same level as your diplomacy skills.
So please come back when you will be able either to fight without bringing WP here or conduct negotiations in right way.
P.S. I'm surprised that there is no whining about those damn mastercards who fight for Russia.
Ohshi... there is!
Perttamisholast!
In the beginning it was Pertamisho also in Indonesia.

I'm not a particularly bad diplomat, but I don't cuddle with trolls if that's what you mean. We've all heard your offer of "peace".The demands were that I should let you keep all the regions you currently hold, except for Gotaland. You know as well as I do that the current state of this war is temporary and that you, for as long as you have nothing better to do (like helping your allies, perhaps?), will focus on these tiny RWs.
It's also a well established fact that you've got more mastercards than we do. So what? It's not your fault, nor is it ours. I never whined about it, I just pointed out the fact that it was your mastercards who saved you, as I thought the public would want to know why the battle turned in the middle of New Years. Mastercard tanking is the way of the game as it is today. But in our current situation, Russia would beat Sweden 1 on 1 even without the mastercards and I'll be the first to admit that.
But your leaders are making a mistake by demanding something which no Swedish president in her right state of mind would give up. And here you come trolling _me_ for bad diplomacy, when it is you who can not make the perfect swap with Finland - which wouldn't cost you a thing, given Finland deer and you would get the aluminium you're craving. And the best part: Finland wouldn't have to trade it with us. How come you think they prefer that swap instead?
So when you could be looking out for your allies and their much more important battles, you defend a region that you do not need, just for the fun on it. Although I kind of thank you for it. This give Sweden an enemy again. That, my dear Axithe, is a perfect example of poor diplomacy. I had no objection to solving our war in a peaceful manner and it was I who contacted your leaders, not the other way around.
Let us not deny the fact that your dodgy peace treaty with an impeached Lithuanian president hours before their rightful successor was installed is what keeps your trade route alive.
Oh, what a huge wall of text written by you, my dear Valnad! I'm so glad I was able to touch the strings of your soul!
>It's also a well established fact that you've got more mastercards than we do. So what?
Absolutely nothing. ONE countries like using the fact that TEDEN countries have a lot of mastercards in order to justify their own failures.
By the way, you claimed Russia was using bots during the battle, but you haven't provided anybody with any evidence. This is the perfect example of bad diplomacy, but it's probably good opportunity to score political points inside your country.
>But your leaders are making a mistake by demanding something which no Swedish president in her right state of mind would give up.
No, you're making a mistake by rejecting such a good deal, in accordance with that you don't lose any bonuses and probably receive some gold. We could understand you if you just cared so much about pixels on the map. However, you guys tried to trick us with building of this "wall" between Germany and Poland by capturing German regions by Sweden in order to protect Germany from Poland's agression. Btw, did Poland know about your curious plans? Never mind, it's rhetorical question. Yet another example of poor diplomacy.
>who can not make the perfect swap with Finland - which wouldn't cost you a thing, given Finland deer and you would get the aluminium you're craving
Oh my goodness! How smart you are! I think you definitely deserve a reward for such ingenious solution!
But seriously there were some reasons not to do this. Previous Finnish presidents should know them. This is ours only business with Finland, anyway. Btw, why should we violate Finland's territorial integrity instead of taking all what we need from Sweden, the country which made several attempts in recent past to mess up our lives during the Baltic wars? Don't answer, this is yet another rhetorical question.
Hugs and kisses.
