Hiya everyone,
This is just to update you on all that's going on around the place.
First off, I'll mention the party elections. It was good to see a set of elections which was so PTO free. Hopefully we can take this forward to future elections, for the benefit of a safe and secure Singapore.
Newb Policy and babyboomz
Some excellent progress has been made so far.
We've got a number of ideas that we can be getting on with. The mentoring scheme is now up and running, and so we're now turning our attention to a possible gifting program. We've worked out the bare bones of it, and the next step is to finalise the finances.
An interesting discussion...
On the Singaporean constitution has been posted by Logan Dunleavy on the forums. You can find it here. If you're not registered on the forums then make sure you sign up!
One of the things that the discussion has thrown up is on the president's rights to award 'nobility', and whether my 'Seal of Awesomeness' counts as that.
Until this constitutional snag is sorted, I reckon I've found a way round it. So, it wouldn't count as 'nobility' if I actually presented people with a 'seal'. I'm not talking a stamp of recognition, I'm talking the animal with flippers. So, for the time being, anyone being awarded with a Seal of Awesomeness will be given this.
There, constitutional difficulties solved!
Malaysia Update
I was interested to hear Relorian's whinge valuable contribution on the subject of Malaysia. He will, I'm sure, be pleased to hear that the past few days talks have proven very encouraging. I hope to announce a definitive agreement in the very near future. I can say that the agreement will result in the free rental of Peninsular Malaysia for a period of time, but will also focus on building trust rather than resentment between our two nations.

I like how you crossed out your initial thought then use bold on the other line however the problem remains the same.
ABC had most of a deal hammered out before he left office. Being the person who came after him it should have been extremely simple to take what he had already laid out and gone with it.
However it seems you have done almost nothing with what ABC left you.
I'd also like to hear how you propose to defend PM if an RW is launched because from what I've been told by various sources is you have no real plan and think people will pay you for the ability to fight here.
...Relorian, nothing has been told to anyone outside those doing the talks because nothing was made final, espesh not with TeMing. We had a thought out plan with Myntax, but Myntax wasn't president or had the power to deal with this.
Although, we are pretty close to reaching a deal atm.
And what various sources? Who is gonna pay who for the ability to fight there? I have no idea where you got the last point from, because it's complete BS and you can't honestly think it's true =.=
