This article was originally going to be a full FA article, but because it’s been a week since I updated all of you, I decided to change it and give you an idea of what I am currently working on.


Foreign Affairs

I’m sure a number of you have already noticed that the membership of our alliance has changed quite a bit over the the last couple of weeks, starting with Greece joining Pacifica. With the face of the e-World changing and alliances shifting, we need to be prepared for the future.

I couldn’t be happier to publicly announce that we’ve added two more members to our alliance, with the addition of Poland and Hungary to Pacifica our alliance has gained two very powerful allies. Poland and Hungary are both top 5 countries in damage in the e-World. They give us control of Northern and Central Europe, and make us the strongest alliance in European time. With an alliance shift likely in the future, it is best to have them on our side.

Whether you view these changes positively or not this only benefits us in the long and short term.

That said, I have had quite a number of questions on the secrecy surrounding these additions. Transparency is important but there are times when the details can’t be released prematurely. Until things are solidified, a negotiation is in flux. Releasing details too early can compromise the discussion. Finding the balance between the necessary secrecy and needed transparency so that people aren't caught off guard is a challenge.

Media

After all of the comments on my article as well as in pm, I’ve decided to bring back eNPR.

The main host will be Tyler Bubblar. I’ve worked with Tyler several times in the past both on eNPR and Fed Radio and he has always proved to be an amazing Host. He will be joined by rotating Co-Hosts to keep the environment fresh. As of right now the plan is to have weekly episodes starting this Wednesday at 6:30pm Pacific Time. Tyler is currently setting up a guest list and preparing for the show. I’ve agreed to be on the first show as a guest.

The details are currently being worked out so I’ll be posting an article with the full details over the next few days so you know exactly when and where you need to be to listen.

Community

Walter is now going to be publishing his articles from our Interior Org. I made this change to give him more visibility and make it easier to keep track of responses. This will hopefully help him reach more people.

This project has been developing slowly but any good new program takes time to grow.

With Aramec on vacation for the next couple of weeks we won’t be seeing the regular press briefing while I am a bit sad by this, I also couldn’t find it in my heart to bring in a fill in. No one does these like Aramec and he is really irreplaceable.
