[PoTUS] Week Three

Day 3,077, 22:52 Published in USA USA by Melissa Rose

Taylor Swift - Out of the Woods
Looking at it now, it all seems so simple
We were lying on your couch, I remember
You took a Polaroid of us
Then discovered (then discovered)
The rest of the world was black and white
But we were in screaming color
And I remember thinking

So it’s been an interesting week. Instead of doing a department by department thing I’ve decided to just tell you about my week.

Monday - Wednesday

The week started off a bit slow, as Monday usually does, but I started madly preparing for eNPR. It’s been two years since I’d done it, and I was very nervous. Even though I was only going to be a guest I totally overmanaged it because of my nerves and wanting it to go well.

I spent the majority of Monday through Wednesday stressing over having to talk on air. While still trying to accomplish my day to day tasks as CP/D.

Wednesday came quickly and while it had a few glitchy issues here and there it was an overall success, although I think we probably should have stopped at an hour. Next time will be even better.

My hope for eNPR is that it turns into a more international type of show that appeals to a wider audience than a one hour show just about eUS stuff. It has the potential for it, and I hope the next administration will run with that and push it to succeed.

This weekend I made a new main graphic for eNPR. I can’t wait for you all to see it. It’s pretty sNaZzy.

Thursday - Friday

Over the last few days negotiations were completed and a vote was held to add another two members to Pacifica. Argentina and Brazil will make wonderful additions to the quickly expanding alliance.

I know quite a number of people have seen this alliance just explode in membership over the last three weeks and I’ll agree it has been a very quick expansion. While these new additions have seemed to all be happening at once, a lot of work went into some of them. Months of effort and planning just came together in the last few weeks causing a surprising quick expansion.

There have also been a lot of jokes about us adding other regions as well, but I can tell you that this alliance won’t be growing much more for quite awhile as we need time to settle in with the changes that have happened, and start developing a plan to handle the growth.

Saturday

As a female CP I have had my share of sexual harassment from an amazingly nauseating amount of sources. For the most part it is easy to ignore them, until one day one of them decides to start RW’s in our overseas regions with the purpose of punishing us for something that was done by someone who isn’t even a eUS citizen anymore.

Thankfully we were able to put the brakes on it and keep our last region in North Korea which has enabled us to start the process of taking back what we lost. This was a futile attempt from a little man with more time than sense.

So, that was my week. My media has published regularly because they are amazing and the rest of my cabinet has run extremely smoothly. It’s been a nice week with very little unmanageable drama.

Is it just me or do you all miss Aramec’s press briefings as much as I do?

Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble.
