When I started this race I wasn’t sure what to expect. I knew it wouldn’t be easy running against DMJohnston but I knew I was up to the challenge. It has been a long two weeks but now that we are here I can look back and see that all of the work was worth it.

First and foremost I want to thank the eAmerican people and all of those who supported me through this campaign. I appreciate all the faith that you have put in me and I promise not to let you down. I also want to thank former President DMJohnston. No matter how much he and I might disagree, I respect him and the service he has put in for this country.

Well, here we are.

Our community is divided and the issues are growing bigger by the day. It is going to take a lot of time, work, and patience to even start to heal the divide we have. I have been told by many people that this is an impossible situation and my goal is unattainable. I disagree with that. I believe there is still enough civility left in the game to work towards healing the divide, and I’m not going to give up. I wouldn’t have taken this job if I thought that it was hopeless.

I believe that no matter how divided we are, we can work towards a common goal of civility. It’s going to take time, and more than a little bit of understanding, but when it is all said and done, we will be a better community than we have been. I believe you want this game to survive for a bit longer and I believe you want civil discourse within our community.

I’m not foolish enough to believe that the situation can be completely rectified. There are some issues that are unresolvable. Giving you the information you need outside of the eUS forums is a start and is the first step to bringing us all back together.

I hope you are willing to help with this goal. It is going to take more than just me, and more than just my liaison. It is going to take every one of you being willing to talk to each other and no small amount of compromise.

I am up to the challenge I have placed before myself. I believe you are too.
