[POTEUS] Day 1: Presidenting (and a Giveaway, as a Treat)

First, thank you so much for your confidence and your votes. I'm now back in the Oval Office for the first time in a long long long time, and having polished my new medal, I've started to reacquaint myself with my new responsibilities. And first and foremost among them....is apparently managing training wars, but second among them is communicating with you. I promised frequent articles, and if nothing else, I plan to uphold that, so let's begin.



Presidenting

I want to let you know what I've been doing. First, behind the scenes lies, well, mostly training wars. I've spent a lot of my first day in office working with our incredibly dedicated military industrial complex, err Kody and Voots et al., getting to know how to most efficiently maintain the training wars that help us farm gold effectively and build relationships with our allies.

That's not all though. Though the month has only just begun, like the 1939 action adventure rom com directed by Howard Hawks Only Angels Have Wings, we've found ourselves in an interesting spot in South America already.

Venezuela: So what's the scenario?

At the moment, the United States is currently fighting Croatia in Llanos.

If you haven't been following, Croatia, a formidable member of CODE, is currently on the run from our Asterian allies following a strong push by Bulgaria. Currently the United States is winning our battle, and with several Asteria nations lined up, the potential to push CODE out of Venezuela marks a serious opportunity for the eUS and our allies in the region.

Now while many Americans may have difficulty locating foreign nations on maps, fear not, our government has hired the best cartographers we could find :

So, the current state of the union is strong, and our goals for the month reflect that as we try to increase the quantity and quality of training wars available and potentially make the most out of our opportunities in Venezuela and abroad through close collaboration with our allies.

Interiors

Let's talk interiors, and not the largely forgotten 1978 Woody Allen movie. I told you when I was running for President that in order to achieve my agenda it would require everyone to participate. So I can tell you what I'm up to, and I can tell you what I'm going to do.

And I strongly encourage you to keep your eyes peeled for announcements from our Interior and Fun departments this week. We have a lot planned.

But I also want to involve every one of you as well. So, as my first act as President (well my first act was making Kody the Minister of Education in game, because let's face it, that's pretty funny. I guess his role is educating me, which, now that I type this out, is pretty accurate) is announcing:

So it's that simple. Be an American citizen. Write an article. Any topic. Some topics might include: What can the President do to improve the eUS, or An analysis of why politics is so stagnant or even Why Paul Proteus sucks.

I'm also happy to announce that our media has hit the ground running.
