[PMO] Newsletter Edition 3

Day 2,077, 01:44 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Prime Minister Office

Ladies and Gentlemen; my fellow Australians,

Welcome to the third edition of my Ministerial Newsletter that I started this term in an effort to keep you informed on the happenings of my office over this month. This edition has quite a few things to cover, but it would be hard for me not to highlight that we have one key element that needs promotion; that is...

Freedom:

So today at 01:43 eRepublik time we secured South Australia and my fellow peoples, I am so excited to say that I have delivered to you my promise. I said we would go to war with eIndonesia, we would get back our regions and secure our liberation... and we have. Nothing is more fulfilling, than knowing that I kept my promise to you, achieved my goals and at last we have won.

We struggled for months on end, battling against eChile and eIndonesia, and now at last we have achieved success. But let me not forget those that battled so hard for us to see our liberation come true.

And furthermore...

Seriously, without the help of our dedicated allies this battle would have slipped through our fingers and we would still be occupied by the force and disgrace that is eIndonesia. I salute you.

Secondly, a huge thank you to the fighters, Battle Heroes and wall holders that fought for their country in the past battles. You deserve a Prime Ministerial thank you for your efforts in securing our regions safety and security.

Why you might ask have we not yet got Western Australia, well it's as simple as the fact that if we do, it would be a strategic nightmare. Trust me when I say this, we don't want it. I hope you can all understand.

The battles may be won, and we may be free, but the WAR is not completed. We will continue until this conflict is at last resolved and justice is delivered. Onwards and Upwards.

Thank you Senators!

Today I called for donations from our newly elected congress to donate their Gold earned from the Congress Medal. The money would be put into the treasury for wartime funds, including: MPPs, weapon supplies, mercenaries etc. I want to say a huge thank you to you guys who donated and as promised, here they are:

Your country, your government and your constituents salute you.

Announcement for a Second Term:

It has been my absolute pleasure serving you this term eAustralia as your country President. Together we achieved much and I feel as if my work is not yet done as we remain at war with eIndonesia. Today in #ausrep someone said to me that "why would you run again in case we lose our regions next term?" (paraphrasing). I thought to myself almost immediately of the titanic. I have seen this great ship of eAustralia out of the harbour into the heat of the battle and thus far we've conquered the dangerous seas. But if there is an iceberg out there for us, then I will lead us through that as well. Speaking as a sailor, "the captain goes down with the ship." I will see us achieve the final victory and if that means us losing even after we've achieved so much then I say I won't go down without a fight. I won't abandon the country at the height of its conflict, not now, not ever. We will win. I will see it done. Onwards to Java!!

Flatster4CP Round Two!

So that concludes this edition, I hope to make one final one before the next election to summarise the term, so keep an eye out for that. I hope this was informative and delightful to read! I'll see you all on the battlefield once more!

Much love and happiness to EVERYONE,

Flatty
Prime Minister
