[PMO] Newsletter Edition 2

Day 2,073, 00:17 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Prime Minister Office

Ladies and Gentlemen; my fellow Australians,

Welcome to my second edition for my newsletter. I hope that this issue will cover many of the questions, concerns and confusion that you have. I will also cover the latest news, events and achievements in the period following the last edition. So read on for more information and thank you for taking the time.

War with eIndonesia:

So at last we have gone to war with eIndonesia. I promised as much in my campaign and I have delivered on that. It took time and longer than I expected, but it would simply have been wrong for me to forsake security and certainty for political goals or satisfying the few. We struck at the best time, coordinated with our allies and we achieved a rapid fire success over eIndonesia in Queensland. I am proud to announce that, "QUEENSLAND HAS BEEN RETURNED TO ITS RIGHTFUL OWNERS".

I want to thank everyone that got into the battle, from divisions 1-4, your damage and enthusiasm was what got us over the line. I want to thank our allies and anyone that volunteered their time for us. That includes everyone from our supply staff to our Battle Heroes. Well done guys!

Airstrikes are all around us!

So you may have noticed that there have been THREE airstrikes on eIndonesia after war broke out. First was Saudi Arabia and now both eIran and eUnited Kingdom.

In reference to the eIran situation, many people were severely confused about the events that occurred last night and I am terribly apologetic for that. We lost a lot of momentum and that was devastating to see. eIran misunderstood the agreement we made, that was to be confirmed at Day Change. It was settled when we attacked Northern Territory, however the eIran CP failed to check the situation and thereby Airstriked Northern Territory. The issue has been resolved, as we lost Northern Territory to eIndonesia and furthermore eIran have successfully opened an Airstrike battle against them. We wish our Iranian friends the best of luck and I urge eAussies to balance your damage between the eUK and eIran AS's.

Secondly, eUK have at last joined the fight! This was a long term plan that faced its uphill battles, but at last has come to fruition. I welcome them to the slaughter, and I hope to see them win their battle. I urge you to fight for them as well. The more the merrier in this case.

Mutual Protection Pacts (MPPs):

eAustralia has at last signed an MPP with eSerbia! After the disaster that was Hanibal_LA we have finally restored good relations. For anyone concerned, our first MPP with Serbia failed ONLY BECAUSE OF THEIR SITUATION, not because of TWO, our relations or at any fault of our government. Hanibal has since been banned and a new impeach CP placed in power, who within 24 hours contacted me asking for MPP. I am so excited to have one of eRepublik's strongest countries behind us at such a vital time.

We have also signed an MPP with eIran after their proposed AS and renewed with eArgentina, who have supported our efforts against CoT and eIndonesia as much as we supported their efforts against our longtime rival, eChile. We wish our allies the best of luck in their conflicts, and offer our damage whenever we can spare it!

Where to from here?

So at the present moment, we do not have initiative and therefore are awaiting an eIndonesian attack. This, we should hopefully hold with the backing of TWO and the assistance of our AS allies. I want everyone to focus on the impending attack. If you want more regions for congress, then don't let the eIndo's get one single inch of ground!

Onwards and Upwards eAustralia, the battle does not stop today, and it will not stop for sometime yet. Fight hard and fight together. But most of all, have fun!

Take care guys and I'll see you on the field of battle.

Flatty
Prime Minister
