[Phoenix] The hope dies at last

Yesterday, we saw a worldwide warfare technique which is pretty well known to EDEN, the age old "lets attack everything we can and hope that we can at least win somewhere." Unfortunately for EDEN, they did not count on such a controlled, valiant, and sustained fighting effort. Not only where we hugely outnumbered for large parts of each battle, but we were also fighting during the EDEN prime time, where the vast majority of Phoenix armies are asleep.

Such tactics have been used in the past, and will be used again in the future, because EDEN cannot even scratch the surface of Serbia, or Hungary, unless it is at 3am in Europe. In no short order, I would like to thank each and every country for their valiant efforts in each of our delicious victories yesterday:

Valley of Mexico (vs Spain)

Congratulations to our Mexican brothers, who with their valiant efforts and a little Phoenix support, managed to remove Spanish threat from their lands. Despite some last minute EDEN resistance, the battle was thankfully secured, and the forces we had prepared where quickly re-routed to our other battles.

Northern Bassarbia (vs Romania)

This is a battle which not only shows Romanian greed, but also the resiliance, dedication, and love, from our Hungarian brothers. The battle was primarily started to drain Phoenix damage and fighters from Liaoning, except Romania decided that instead of helping their Chinese "allies", they would allow over 300 of their citizens to waste valuable damage in a battle they themselves had opened as a distraction. Not only this, but their efforts to win the region were easily thwarted by a quick Phoenix mop up, and the battle was abandoned by the Romanian forces. I am unsure why, but these fighters then stayed in Romania, leaving their allies again!

Wales (vs Canada)

Again, this was a battle which was supposed to be purely to waste Phoenix damage and personelle, which turned into an almost important battle thanks to the disdain which is seen between some EDEN nations. Canada pumped over 60,000 damage into this battle, which I (as UK president) almost retreated to ensure that no Phoenix stray forces were directed here by mistake. Hilariously, as I was hovering over the button, I saw 40 Canadian troops, so decided to let them waste their time, whilst I was directing forces in LK. Yet again, however, the valiant Phoenix forces (who had just finished securing Liaoning) quickly undid all the canadian actions, and the battle was again secured.

Gyeongsangbuk-do (vs Japan)

I dont know what to tell you: this battle was pretty much identical to the various other EDEN drain battles. The draining tactic backfired thanks to nationalist motives, and it ended up yet another battle which EDEN or BROLLIANCE forces spent damage in, instead of Liaoning. This battle was easily secured, thanks to a short co-operative strike from Phoenix forces, fresh off the Liaoning battlefield.

Sudovia (vs Poland)

Now I'm unsure if you are going to believe me: but Poland decided to invest the majority of their resources into their own battles, instead of their allies. With over 70,000 EDEN damage invested in this battle, which was easily secured after Liaoning, Serbia can definitely thank Poland for distracting themselves, Croatia, and Canada with this one.

1 and 2 (vs Australia)

These were the only drain battles which worked. Indonesia put in sizeable damage, but secured their Australian colony against minimal resistance. All this says to me, is that whilst EDEN may be a "brotherhood", Australia is not yet considered a part of this.

Eastern Siberia (vs China)

In a hilarious side twist, Phoenix not only won every battle which EDEN opened, but they also fought valiantly to try and remove China from the Russian region of Eastern Siberia. Our dear brother Russia fought hard, as did every member who was available after our epic win in Liaoning. We held the battle in overtime for in excess of 5 hours, but unfortunately we could not win. I would like to apologise to our dear russian brothers, but our tanks where full of EDEN blood on this occasion: we simply could not move!

On behalf of Phoenix Command, I would like to thank each and every Phoenix member for their valiant efforts. Not only was Liaoning the clear first priority for our allies Serbia, but each and every country did not allow themselves to be too distracted by the multitude of draining battles which were opened to try and remove Serbia from their fortress region in China. Not only does this show that Phoenix can orchestrate the biggest fightback of V2, but it also shows that our alliance is not based on conflicting national interests, but of a common goal.

Now, let us examine the efforts of our friends in the big one: the biggest battle seen since half the worlds accounts die😛 Lionking.

First and foremost, we should acknowledge the unbelievable amount of damage our dear serbian brothers mustere😛 Over 1 million damage. But today is not just a victory for Serbia. Today is a victory for each, and every, Phoenix citizen, country, army and paramilitary. So in no particular order, for the last time under a tile based military module:

Hail Bulgaria
Hail Russia
Hail Slovenia
Hail France
Hail Hungary
Hail Serbia
Hail Indonesia
Hail Germany
Hail UK
Hail Argentina

Hail Ukraine
