[PCP] The Sleeping Giant Shall Arise

For far too long the People’s Communist Party of the eUK has been silent and all PCP members are unhappy with the current situation that we find ourselves in. It is time for us to speak out and rise up!
The eUK is going through some tough times at the moment and all citizens need to stand united. We are being attacked by three nations – eCanada, eFrance and eGermany and we have been wiped again. The last time we were wiped it took us about three months to regain a region in order to secure a Congress. We are a small nation and because of this, our wars are not always the number one priority when it comes to our Allies. Therefore, regaining our original regions is a number one priority to all PCP members along with all members in our military unit – People’s Army. You will also find that many high experienced eUK citizens end up leaving the eUK, when we have been wiped, for another ONE nation but, not the members of the PCP. We stay in our country even if it has been wiped. We fight until we can’t fight anymore.
Many citizens are discussing a major issue once again – is ONE the right alliance for us? Some citizens have even suggested that we become a neutral nation. We, at the People’s Communist Party, believe that the eUK should remain in the ONE alliance for the time being. We also believe that becoming a neutral nation cannot work for us. The fact is that we have resources that eFrance, eCanada and eGermany all need. So, as a neutral nation we would face foreign occupation constantly with no allies to call upon. When it comes to one vs one, we are weaker than all three of our invaders so, fighting to free ourselves will also prove difficult. This is proved by many smaller ONE nations who constantly face problems trying to regain their original regions. Sometimes the only help that the smaller nations get is from Militia groups but, most of the time these groups are paid to help out in resistance wars.
So, you may be asking yourself what the PCP has a problem with. It’s quite simple really. We have a problem when we are being attacked or invaded by foreign nations and the MoD orders are to fight for one of our allies. We are told that fighting in certain eUK wars will end up being a damage drain but, the same could be said for some of our Allies wars. Personally I have had to follow daily orders fighting for an ally with no chance of winning at all. We at the PCP are very patriotic to our country and more so, when our country needs us the most. The PCP considers an attack on any of our regions as an important war. Just take a look at the first page of members in the PCP and you will notice that all of our members have a highest damage fighting for the eUK! Actions speak louder than words.
Many eUK citizens might not know too much about the PCP but, we’re a Party that works for the good of the country and we always have the country’s best interests in mind. We believe in fairness and equality for all eUK citizens. We also do not discriminate when it comes to our younger members. Some of these younger members have even been PP for the PCP. None of the PCP members are hardcore Communists at all. All members are always willing to lend a helping hand.
When the eUK is not under attack, the PCP’s MU (People’s Army) helps out smaller ONE nations who face endless hardship by their invaders. We do this to try and help them get their regions back and to get a Congress.
Some may see this as a recruitment drive and they would be correct. We know that we are not the only eUK citizens that are fed up with the state of our country. So, if you are also fed up with our regions being taken by our invaders then the PCP would like you to join us and our MU in order to fight for our freedom. The one promise that the PCP will make is that should any eUK region be attacked then our daily orders will be to fight in these wars.

You know those times when we were winning with alliance support? The countries fighting for us then also had their own battles and their own defeats. That's what solidarity is. I can't believe a communist party is voting to scab on our allies and go it alone to save our own skins.

@Iain - at no time in my article did I attack our allies. The PCP understands solidarity but, we need to look after our country's interest first.
We do get help from our allies but, their wars are their number one priority (and rightly so). At any given time eSerbia can have 6 RW's on the go at one time. We can't expect them to help us out to often.

UK interest is ofcourse the most important. As is said in the article alone we cannot win from France nor from Germany. Each nation alone is stronger than us. So we do need support from friends when we want to win battles. When all our allies focuss on their own battles first (when being (nearly) wiped, all will loose the battles.
So what is PCP's alternative, loosing our battles (we will not be helped) and that of our allies (we will not help them)?
I do think we need to strengthen our citizens and need to coordinate with our allies to beat our enemies.
That is what the UK government does, so I support our government.
Anyways I am interested in working alternatives, so I support the discussion you start but I do not see a working alternative in this article nor in the comments. We must try harder.
About not helping or allies. If we paraphrase the article here, it says that, without Allied support, then eUK cannot maintain its borders and stay unwiped. Current alliances and the creation of new alliances is paramount to eUK as a whole. Destroying those hard fought alliances is definitely not something that we stand for; that would be idiotic.

About the anti communist comments. We are far-left libertarians ... I think of our politics similar to that of founder members of the Durruti Column of the Spanish civil war (but possibly better organised):

Guys you need to understand that the PCP is very patriotic but, we can't sit around waiting for our allies to dictate when and where we must fight. When our country is at war then that's where we will be.
@anti-communits views - even if we wanted to run this country as a communist country game mechanics don't allow for this.

No, I was talking about the UK without the e. but what's the point of calling yourself communists if you don't implement the communist works of Karl Marx. In this game it can't be done. Only Plato has that power so there is no point in having a communist party. Everybody the same wages all factories and companies owned by the government. Sorry but it wouldn't work and couldn't be done. Anyway communism has no place in the 21st century, it's to old fashioned.
You might have better luck calling yourself the labour party, you know fighting for the common man and workers unite. You might get a few more votes.
Orinocco: this is a game, whether the RL UK has ever been communist is a non-issue. Part of the interest of this game is to explore how you can work within the crappy set up of the game to implement things like communist. MU's and parties use communes, if you had the cash to set it up on a government level, bingo, you have everybody on the same wages in all factories and all companies owned by the government. I'm not saying it's plausible with the current game, but it is possible.

If we are 65:35 down against France it makes sense for fight for an ally who is 49:51 down. Whatever happened to international communist solidarity?
If you work in an Army/ Government company and all earn the same minimum wage (regardless of rank) and get supplies (food and weapons) then this is a commune, no?

At the time we aieded our allies we wouldn have won. In that instance the MoD was right. The fact you mia understand this out lines a huge problem in understanding.
It's not just the UK. Many other countries have gone down the same road over the past months repeatedly. Several still are.
So there are 2 possible explanations;
a) Teden dmg is overwhelmingly superior to ONE dmg.
b) There's something very wrong with the functionality, dedication and direction of global dmg from the ONE.HQ / ONE countries.
And there's 1 only answer to this:
a) We adress the issues or we keep going like we've been going for the last year.
b) Nope, there's no option b.

The 'possible' explanations are that TEDEN damage is superior to ONE? Kudos on that, sherlock. ONE can win when its united, because it relies on less countries (easier to mobilise damage). However, look at the alliance split, in numerical and damage terms, EDEN/Terra is easily above ONE/CoT.
More votes then members in the PCP, a truly epic accomplishment!
Just to clarify - the PCP will defend the eUK as far as humanly possible. At the moment in the West Midlands it's 80-41 (I think) and there aren't any other eUK battles at the moment. Therefore, we would obviously fight for our allies.
It is possible to be patriotic and show solidarity, no?
We need more support from allies I believe in our bids to survive. Solidarity between us and allies is needed, otherwise. We will just be a struggling faction in former eUK. We will be a misplaced erace.
We need to lobby our allies, and soon. Otherwise all is lost.

@Angela - yes, you are correct. The PCP can't do anything to help the eUK alone. This is why we want all citizens to come together and fight for our regions.
Regarding the issue of bonuses - this is a load of crap! We have been fighting for our lands since we were able to - unfortunately, there is no way to show this as patriot damage has been in existence for a short time.
Thinking about it, I can't really take any anything personal when it comes to the UKPP. Accepting bribes for CS
applications, following your own agenda when it comes to citizenship.
Why don't you guys try and work together with all the eUK political parties?
Its better to wait, help our allies , gather strength then attack will full potential .
