[PCP] The end of an era

Day 3,653, 05:07 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by bamber

This is it comrades, the moment you have all been waiting for, an acknowledgement of the merge. However, this article will focus on the history of PCP. Something I encourage TUP members to create as a final farewell to the past.

Although, I am quite sad to be writing this article, the possibilities for the future of the eUK are exciting for everyone involved. On November 17th 2017, the People's Communist Party voted to merge with The Unity Party forming a new party called The People's Unity Party (PUP). There's not much to say about this party as the administration work is still being sorted out, and there's so much you can say about the social aspect of the history of PCP. So, instead lets have a brief, statistical summary of the history of PCP, in order to both save time and keep the article short.

As some of you may remember the PCP was once in the biggest 3 parties in the eUK with over 100 members. The party is one the oldest in the eUK founded back in 2008 and still to this we punched above our weight.

We have had a number of CPs during this time
KIA Sneak July 2008-October 2008
Kumnaa June 2009-July 2009
John Bartlett August 2010-September 2010
Ayame Crocodile May 2013-June 2013

Members of the Hall of Fame
Ip Lockard
KIA Sneak
Stan Wephen
Keithunder

We would like to thank those of you who have been members of the PCP both past and present, and we would like you to join us in the PUP as we move forward.
