~Oraizan for President of Japan~
Oraizan
Many people have been asking, calm down! Yes, I am running for president. I plan to make -many- articles related to me running. On August fifth, vote Oraizan for your president!
Campaigning
I realize that I am backed by a majority and probably don't have to run a serious campaign, but I want to. My past terms in Congress I have ran serious campaigns, always posting a lengthy article on why I should be elected. President deserves a lot more from me, so my campaign should be 'a lot more' lengthy!
Throughout this week, I hope my articles will be enjoyed!
Cabinet
I do not believe posting who I have asked to join my cabinet if I win, but I would like the public to know my current idea's and positions I am adding. Also, feedback is welcome. If elected I will be posting my cabinet right away, so if there are any concerns with the way I have organized my cabinet or suggestions let me know!
To start off, I have changed all the major role titles to 'Minister' instead of 'Secretary'. Personally I find that the word Minister represents something of a higher government, and secretary is more an assistant that helps the higher government. This is a small change but I believe it will make it easier to understand the way I have organized cabinet positions.
Vice President
Will have the full rights that I do, able to command, advice, and take in reports from anybody. He/she will also have complete acess to all government organizations.
Minister of Foreign Affairs
To watch over and look for Ambassadors, continue relations with other countries, be ready on a moments notice to contact another country. Activity is key for this role.
Secretary of Wars and Events
Handpicked to watch over war's and events (whether pertaining to Japan or not) and report on them in the media and/or to the President so that all citizens are current on the news. I was hoping that this would have the citizens more knowledgeable about the world around them and let them know how it is changing.
Minister of National Welfare
Watch over our citizens wellness levels and job placements, make sure that everybody is happy and satisfied (giving gifts to somebody can go a long way).
Minister of Defense
Watch over the army, push for decisions, propose new ideas, discuss with those under and monitor funding, etc. I will also be putting War-game discussion to top priority for this position, that way we are able to keep our citizens happy.
Secretary of Army Organization
This position is mainly to make sure that the members are active and when the time comes that we are able to be functional. Although right now and without funding we are not 100% functional, I would like to hold this position for when/if we are to have it as a top priority.
Secretary of Defense
Advisers to the Minister of Defense, and able to take on any of the Minister of Defenses duties, should it be needed/asked.
Minister of Japanese Imperial Army Public Relations
Dedicated to getting the army's name out there, and keeping the JIA a positive image in the minds of the citizens.
Minister of Finance
To watch over the markets, consider taxes and job rates, advise to the president or propose to congress a course to help stabilize/improve the 3 markets, etc.
Minister of Market Surveillance
Dedicated to watching over and evening out the markets should it be needed. This job will be much more private and specialized but I believe it is needed.
Minister of Treasury and Accounts
A position specifically for having an extra (trusted) person who can watch over the accounts. In the absence of the President and any other official, they will also be able to administer (voted upon) funds to other government programs. Hopefully this will keep everything a lot more smooth during the processes.
Minister of Internal Affairs
Dedicated to connecting with our citizens, and making sure that those who are regularly quiet are still heard.
Minister of Immigration
Mainly the use will be to watch over citizenship once it is implemented. I would like one person to be in-charge of it, even though all of congress can technically accept people. Though it won't be perfect, it can possibly help the process and Congress will not have to feel obligated to vote people in or not. :3
Speaker of Congress
Controls the NnK org, watches over the forum bonuses and updates citizens in-game about the going-ons from Congress on the forum.
The way I have designed my congress should fit. Even though the numbers are large, it is filled out so that not everything needs communication, and that everybody has specific duties.
This was Article one. From here on out I will continue to touch topics that I believe of great interest to Japan. I hope that you will all find me adequate of your vote. I will end this article with a few related words to current situations.
Anger is an unpleasant feeling. It is like a blazing flame that burns up our self-control and causes us to say and do things that we regret later. When someone is angry, we can see clearly that he or she is abiding in hell. Anger and hatred are the materials from which hell is made. A mind without anger is cool, fresh, and sane. The absence of anger is the basis of real happiness, the basis of love and compassion.
When we are angry we are not usually inclined to return to ourselves. We want to think about the person who is making us angry, to think about his hateful aspects, his rudeness, dishonesty, cruelty, maliciousness, and so on. The more we think about him, listen to him, or look at him, the more our anger flares. His dishonesty and hatefulness may be real, imaginary, or exaggerated, but, in fact, the root of the problem is the anger itself, and we have to come back and look first of all inside ourselves. If we put all our mind into observing our anger, we will avoid doing any damage that we may regret later.
We are 'turning the corner' Japan.
Yours always,
Oraizan~

Good Luck Oraizan!!
Good Luck
Bleh
{That means good luck}
There is a big difference between my government and the one you proposed before, Minamoto. I have tried to make it so that there is -more- activity with my cabinet instead of making more positions to -split- the work. This means that there will be new reports in eRep, and new government officials with specific NEW jobs. I don't like the idea of -splitting- work as a cabinet, except for in the case of the army. That is why there is mainly only ministers. :3
Thank you for your support everybody! I hope if I am elected that I can do my country proud! :3
Gassho.
o/
That is one hell of a lot o ministers 😛
You /have/ made more positions to split the work, Oraizan. You told me yourself that they will be specialised cabinet members. Meaning splitting up the position of a Cabinet member that would have covered multiple aspects of the same thing. That's cleary splitting things up!
But it is duties that mainly nobody has ever done in Japan before. So even though it is adding more aspects to one job, it is also adding new aspects to one job, and specializing somebody for it. :3
I also added aspects that weren't in operation in Japan.
Anyone can see that you can merge several of the positions that you have detailed above- and so you've -split- them. So you're really wrong 😉
Don't get me wrong. I'm in favour of a government that involves more people (clearly). But I just want to prove my point and also expose the annoying groupthink and hypocracy Japan seems to experience day in, day out. It's not enticing for foreigners that may want to move here and it's not good for new citizens trying to take part in their country.
It is similar, but different. The 'group-think' really doesn't happen as you may think it does. Maybe when you initially presented it it just wasn't agreeable, or maybe my popularity makes everybody agree. People have voiced concerns over my cabinet plans, especially from the 'group-think' people though, so that is pretty invalid. I am against a large cabinet that requires a lot of teamwork and such, so I am trying to make it so that there is little communication and teamwork involved between members. Once it is that way, processes should be smooth, and all those initially opposed to the idea won't have an arguement.
I could merge more, and just simply give one person more work. I don't want to though. If I add something new to the agenda, I want it to be it's own position.
Minister of National Welfare
Watch over our citizens wellness levels and job placements, make sure that everybody is happy and satisfied (giving gifts to somebody can go a long way).
So our gov't is going to spend our tax dollars to help keep wellness up? This is the job of every single citizen in erep. to watch their own wellness. I sure as hell do not want my tax dollars going to pay for someone's wellness because they only log in every so often.
By making this position, this is actually going to encourage people to be less active. "It's ok, the gov't will take care of your wellness."
In case you haven't noticed, we have plenty of inactive people in eJapan already.
Kokawa Jinja = Wellness program. Initially it is not government funded, but yet it runs on donations which have been a huge success. please check your facts before saying that something is a waste. :3
I'm leaving eJapan. Fairwell.
This article gave me good enough reason. XD
Just kidding. Good luck oraizan!
The cake is a lie! Just look to the empty plate in the article picture! XD
If you win I give you free pie!
We, the Sparkling Justice V, will be watching. For justice~!
