@ernesto & co: the money will come as investments: companies, better salaries, more work places. If you are a true bolivian (which I doubt very much) you should see that eBolivia can bennefit from our experience. It is true: to have a nation powerfull enough you really need training wars; and a strong economy as well. We are willing to invest money in eBolivia, but, personaly, I don't know if is worth it if you behave like this.

Christian, what you say isn't valid economically.

If 100 people fight 4 times/day they get 4 * 2 * 100 = 800 XP points they wouldn't get otherwise. Considering a medium of 500 XP points per level that means from leveling up citizens in Bolivia gain in total 8 gold each day they fight.

8 gold * 30 days = 240 gold more for bolivian citizens/month than without training wars.

These 240 gold are much more than whatever Lithuania might ask for taking part in war games.

Also other advantages :
- bolivian players increase their military rank and make more damage for possible future conflicts
- bolivian players get to experience the military side of the game which is a very interesting one

Food and grain industry going down ???
No ,that won't happen. As people begin to learn to fight they get to appreciate even more having a high wellness as that gives them extra damage. So they will be more carefull in having >90 wellness resulting in more profit for business owners.

Plus all that extra gold taken in from levelling will be used by citizens to buy more stuff from the market ( a general economic rule says that the more money you have the more you spend)

While I agree in differences of opinion ( fine you want wargames ) comming here right before elections, running , and then telling people who have lived here that you know better than them is the height of arrogance. You can all say what you want ( yes we are a democracy ) but if you have any idea what has happened in Bolivias past with the Polish TO and the theft of the entire treasury then you would know that the mistrust of other players is great, and not without reason. Try talking to Bolivians instead of talking at them. Use facts and logic, not threats and name calling. I see 12 of the 15 comments for this article putting down the people of Bolivia who have worked hard for this country. It looks like an attack to me or at least a group who could TO. Ernesto has worked hard for Bolivia, everyone here knows that. We all may not always agree with him but all respect him. I came here and took the time to get to know what was going on before I started getting really involved. Everyone welcomed me. I didn't tell everyone they were doing everything wrong. If I disageed with something I used conversation to get my ideas across, not name calling. Your ideas probably have some merrit. We could all gain from more experience, but at least try to work with the people who have been here since Bolivia was created and not try to replace them.

@Anthony : I am doing this because the current leadership is actually doing a poor job. Ask any country in the eWorld that has allready joined some form of WarGames if they think it is worth it and everybody will answer yes. But the current leadership only wants to attack everybody that suggest anything that could bring advantages to the country only because it undermines their position .
@HERLAN😨 please stay on the topic . This is something that in your case as you are a small level player would be a great thing to have in Bolivia. Try thinking outside the box for a few moments and you will realize at least in this subject of War Games i have bolivian citizens best interest in mind.

@Jesusfbo: Mister Bolivian President, I am still waiting for an official answer from yourself. We know that Ernesto has helped you grow your political career but it is time you step up and speak for yourself. I have presented above facts with numbers and advantages. Please give a response soon(a decent one in max 24 hours could seem ok) or I might be forced to propose an impeach and let somebody else as president who at least could try and actually talk with the elected congressman on policies favorable for the country.

Ernesto, sorry for mentioning past events if this made you angrier or anything. The idea was that i have asked jesusfbo to please present here his reasons for not wanting war games. I gave numbers and facts in favor of this idea.

He could have just come and explain with numbers why he thinks war games are inappropriate. Instead you started speaking about Draculins and other stuff 🙂

As 24 hours have passed since i posted the article and i got no response from him, i have proposed an impeach law against him.

The chances of success for this law are around 1 out of 1000 , but even in the probable case it fails the congressmen voting against him should represent a clear signal that he is acting against the interests of some people representatives.

I have only asked for a decent conversation with economical facts, if he does that we can have a civilised discussion. If he or his friends come to insult me and others our reaction will off course be in the same tone.

kag1 is right, the presidential impeachment law has our support.

Kag, maybe you don't know, but Lithuania doesn't have anything to decide whan a new country ants to join the war games. It's not just send an MPP and we're ready to go. You have to pay for each battle in the war games, and we still have more than 2 months of war games. So if you have the money, meybe it would be a good idea to ask first how much it would cost you to PEACE, and then try to gather all the money for it.

And as Ernesto says, there are also negative impacts in a small country with constant wars, it's not all positive. Of course the level of the population will increase, but the food market will suffer greatly, because everybody will buy just Q1 food, ignoring all the other quealities because they are an unnecesary luxury in war games.

You need a large amount of weapons in your local market, otherwise the prices will increase, wich will make all other manufacture industries to increase ther prices because of the high wages the weapon companies pay.

The currency will devaluate a little bit if your country is unable to suport all the warfare demand (weapons, tickets and gifts), because people will buy this products outside the country, exchanging their BOB for gold.

Well, this is just a small part of what will happen, but if you think you have the gold and your country can handle it, I strongly reccomend you to join this war games and train your population. But it would be very irresponsible of you to join them without knowing what are your country's priorities.

If he is unable to negotiate with Peace, we have somebody in our group who can. I posted above a very pesimistic calculation which shows that only from the medals taken at gaining a new level due to the new fighting posibilities a sum of at least 240 gold will enter the country's population.

People don't need weapons to fight in war games , if they want weapons they can spend their money,nobody is stopping them. And regarding q1 food , you must be joking , 99% of players here only buy q1 food at the moment 🙂, they can't get lower than that.

legionario, nadie dice que los wargames no sean una alternativa... loq ue el chico este no entiende (kag1) es que lso wargames, como otras cosas, es una alternativa, una opcion.

Y cualquiera con dos dedos de frente sabe que cuando los recursos son escasos y hay varias cosas por hacer lo unico posible es priorizar esto o aquello.

Ya estuve hablando con alguna gente y les dije que si realmente consideran imperioso tener unos wargames, que organicen una colecta. Si los congresistas electos aportasen 1 gold por cabeza ya tendriamos para pagar el mpp y las primeras cuotas de batalla por adelantado.

eso si, aqui todos quieren cosas, pero cuando toca poner, ya no aparece ni el Tato. 😉

De hecho, no se ha podido devolver esas aportaciones (porque no eran donaciones, eran contribuciones) por el hecho de que aun quedan cosas pendientes de hacer.

Lo que no entiende kag1 es que venimos en una racha jodida, y el dinero que ya debia destinarse para esto y otros asuntos (wargames, hospital, devolucion de contribuciones, etc) se quemó en la guerra pagando y apoyando con gold a los tankes que viniendo a ayudar en la defensa.

As we just talked on private also if the government comes with a clear cost needed and how much it would expect each congresman or member of the group i am part of to invest for war games in a reasonable sum (eg BCC not paying 99% of the sum or something like that ...) I am willing to contribute.

Se supone que este es un juego donde se "simula" la democracia para sacar adelante cualquier proposiciòn, pero un extranjero que ni siquiera se esfuerza en escribir en español para proponer algo, no puede venir a presionar para que le hagan caso. Que bueno que la censura no esta prosperando, y que la comunidad tenga gente experimentada que defienda los intereses de eBolivia.

Por el simple hecho que ahora tenemos a una mayoria de los bolivianos de baja salud (>70) que por esta razon produce muy poco cuando trabaja, y que podria subir su salud hasta 90+ peleando y usando los hospitales Q4 y Q5, lo que dice Christian Goebbels no es verdad.
Lo que invertimos en guerras por impuestos (que, te hago recuerdo, pagamos todos, no solo las empresas), ganamos doble por el aumento de produccion.

Y ahora que han introducido la ciudadanía, los PTO son casi imposibles, ya que los extranjeros ya no puedan entrar y votar en elecciones asi no mas, robando la eleccion y el dinero.

Sin embargo, a la fuerza, o sea por invasión todavia un país vecino todavía puede robar el gold y los recursos naturales de Bolivia. Y en este momento la mayoria de los bolivianos tiene muy poca experiencia (damage) en guerras, asi que nosotros como ciudadanos bolivianos no nos vamos a poder defender. Ni siquiera tenemos alianzas con paises que nos podrian ayudar en caso de un ataque ahora..!

Entrando en una alianza tendriamos apoyo en nuestra defensa, posibilidad de entrenarnos en guerras y asi ganar fuerza, y nos daría más producción. Son cosas elementales de este juego.

Harry Nak, te aseguro que en un país como el nuestro los TO son posibles.

No los des por muertos porque como haya algún o algunos infiltrados en el congreso entonces podríamos tener una entrada de multis y eso si que no sería nada bueno.

Entiendo que el país acaba de salir de una situación muy difícil y ahora hay que impulsar la economía otra vez.

@Legionario: Con 'algunos' infiltrados en el congreso no se puede organizar un TO. Estoy de acuerdo contigo que TO sí son posibles, pero no muy probables - presupondria que haya una mayoria de infiltrados en el congreso ahora, o que votemos por una mayoria de ellos en las siguientes elecciones.

Lo que sí es un gran problema es lo que escribiste tu anteriormente: nuevos jugadores bolivianos que no tienen mucha posibilidad de salir de su baja salud, teniendo que usar 2 puntos para trabajar + entrenar, mientras su sueldo no alcanza para comprar mas que comida Q2.

Temo que esto no de mucho incentivo a los nuevos ebolivianos para seguir en el juego. Tu y yo hemos salido para pelear y conseguir salud 90+, pero no todos saben como hacerlo, y tambien es un gasto bastante grande para todos nosotros 'nuevos' mientras hay un hospital Q4 que queda sin uso. Esto no tiene sentido.

Solo los bolivianos que han empezado anteriormente en un pais extranjero y aprovecharon de las buenas politicas de estos paises de organizar hospitales Q5 y wargames les sirve esta situacion. Mira los perfiles de jesusfbo y Ernesto Guevara, por ejemplo, han peleado lo suficiente para poder seguir adelante - y no ha sido aqui en Bolivia.

@Chuck Norris: dudo que haya mucho impacto en la venta de comida de alta calidad, muchos bolivianos ahora si o si no tienen los recursos para comprarla.

harry nak... te lo pongo de esta manera:

nuestro pais tiene una economia de baja calidad. El dinero que iba utilizarse para compra de licencias de exportacion, o subida de calidad se quemó en la guerra pasada. Ahora, la gente ha empezado a recuperarse, gold por gold y ya se puede ver empresas subiendo a nivel 2 y 3 de calidad. La estatal de casas es q3 y se venden, asi que se esta empezando a tener mas ingresos en gold.

No soy dle gobierno, pero entre la opcion de hipotecar el pais metiendonos en un wargame que cuesta 120 gold por mes, prefiero mil veces esperar un poco mas, fortalecer al economia, mejorar las recaudaciones y una vez saneada la eocnomia, pagar los wargames con el propio flujo de caja estatal, sin tener que pedir ni rogar.

Lo que nos e peude es poner el aparato economico nacional en funcion de una sola cosa (el wargame ese) y dejar de lado otras.

Las naciones pequeñas deben centrarse en lo economico y no en lo militar.. da igual que seamos fuertecitos si somos pocos (cualquier pais con x% mas de poblacion nos llevara por delante siempre). En una nacion pequeña la amenaza militar no se resuelve por lo militar sino por lo diplomatico y economico (que a veces va ligado).

una economia fuerte permitira atraer empleados, ciudadanos. especializarnos en lo que tenemos de fortaleza economica y aprovechar las oportunidades de exportar y ganar mercados. producimos una de las maderas mas baratas del mundo y hay paises que ansian proveerse de ella.

Entonces en que deberiamos enfocar nuestros pocos recursos... en potenciar nuestra vocacion exportadora o en gastarlo todo, o casi todo, en wargames? pensamos a corto plazo, pan para hoy, hambre para maãna, o asentamos hoy las bases economicas con la cual, mañana poder tener mayor maniobrabilidad??

Gracias por tu reaccion, Ernesto. Pero tengo que decirte que estas hablando utopias. Como vamos a recuperar poco a poco mientras no sube la salud de muchos Bolivianos..? Ahora no hay casas en el mercado (que no serian dentro del alcance de muchos tampoco), no hay regalos y comida Q3 se vende a 8 Bs. Que es más que el sueldo diario que yo veo en muchos de estas 'estatales'.
Quien va a trabajar en las fabricas de casas Q3 mientras esto te bajaria 3 puntos de salud, mas 1 punto para entrenar y no hay comida Q4??? O comida Q3 mas regalos?

Asi que la eleccion clara y facil entre 'hacer wargames ahora y mañana no tener pan' y 'crecer poco a poco y seguir adelante a nuestros terminos' que tu propones no va. No crecemos ahora y no vamos a crecer si sigamos asi.

No hay manera ahora en Bolivia de mejorar la salud y por eso no hay manera de alzar la produccion y salir de la 'trampa de pobreza' a nivel individual y a nivel macroeconomico. Solo salir al exterior nos quedaria, pero esto debilitaria aun mas al pais.

Nos costaria mucho entrar en alianzas (que nos protegeria de invasiones tambien)? Ahi entra el arte de la negociacion. Como has dicho, tenemos alto nivel de madera en el Altiplano, y el precio de la madera ha subido mucho ultimamente. Muchos paises lo buscan y estoy seguro que les gustaria invitarnos a su alianza a cambio de un buen precio para la venta de madera.

nuestra escasez y falta de variedad permite eso, que un par de vivillos pongan cualquier precio aprovechando de la situacion.

Esas son las oportunidades de las que hablaba, si alguien decidiese entrar en cualquiera de esos sectores, podria obtener beneficios sin necesidad de ensuciar su moral.

Cualquiera (aqui entra el tema de competencia o incompetencia del sector privado) que ofrezca salarios un poco mejores, TODAVIA MANTENDRIA margenes de ganancias... y lo digo con datos de primera mano porque he podido ofrecer salarios competitivos en la armeria q2 (compre una q1 y la subi a q2) y aun asi rebajar lso precios, de casi 40 a menos de 30 BOB por arma.

es decir, que es una realidad que nos estan pagando miseria, pero tambien es cierto que hay unos pocos que estan lucrando con ello.

Y no se trata de un grupo de gobierno, como acusaba fulano, sino que es el sector empresarial privado que es por ahora, incapaz de sobrepasar el nivel 2 de calidad y de ver un poco mas alla de sus narices.

Mañana mismo, quien tenga suficiente gold podria comprar esa empresa de regalos (o crear una nueva) y entrar al ruedo... si los gift cuestan 8 bob (con certeza su costo de produccion es mucho menor) es porque nadie ha querido intervenir.

Y como parte d elos acuerdos previos a la constitucion de nuestro pais es que el estado intervenga ahi donde el sector privado no puede (o no quiere), no me sorprenderia ver una estatal ofreciendo regalos mas baratos, regulando el precio de los mismos.

de toda la vida, los principales compradores de regalos han sido los empresarios, para subir el wellness de sus trabajadores... pero aca, nuestros empresarios no hacen ni eso. Pagan poco y complementan con nada.

No estoy de acuerdo. Hay empresarios en Bolivia que sí intentan fortalecer a sus trabajadores. Mi empleador Emporio VIP por ejemplo, paga un sueldo bastante alto: gano alrededor de 12 Bs produciendo productos Q1, asi que yo sí tengo posibilidad de subir mi salud. A veces Emporio me ofrece regalos tambien. Pero el no tiene ganancias, hasta tiene perdidas y está invirtiendo su propio dinero.
Y lo malo es que noto en el que ya se está cansando, porque no tiene ningun respaldo del gobierno en politicas que hacen subir la salud de los ciudadanos y asi subir la produccion de su empresa. Temo que los 'buenos' empresarios como el, los que tu dices que estas buscando, pronto dejen de apoyar a Bolivia.

Mira, la meta de cualquiera empresa es conseguir ganancias. Una de las tareas del gobierno es construir politicas que permitan que empresas buscando ganancias apoyan al bienestar de los ciudadanos, o sea por invertir el dinero entrando por impuestos en politicas que hacen subir la produccion, hacen bajar los precios, etc.

No puedes culpar a las empresas que buscan ganancias mientras el gobierno solo espera y no hace nada para mejorar la situacion.
