After the judgement and sentencing, the tribunal announces an order issued by Governor General William Choi, as follows:

"In order to prevent a profoundly and lasting distorting impact on the impression of the colonial government among East Koreans, war criminals sentenced to death are hereby granted a partial pardon. Death penalties will be replaced by life imprisonment. In addition, the colonial government kindly grants prisoners the freedom to exercise civil rights inside the prison, including writing newspapers, taking part in political activities, despite their physical confinement. The order will be published later on."

The head judge His Honarable William Choi announces the prisons for A-class criminals, B-class criminals and C-class criminals, guarded by military police.
