I'm running for CP in loving memory of my mother (pic above) who sadly passed away at 02:30GMT. OK, she didn't actually play the game; at 88yo the only keyboard she may have ever touched was that of a typewriter (remember those?) in the 1970s or 1980s! And her mobile phone was a model dating over 10 years ago ... at least!!
Anyway, there's little or no chance of me being the eUK worst ever CP - that accolade goes to the treasury-pinching BigAnt in his last term or that other treasury-pincher ChewChewShoe, not to mention the Sir Humphrey Appleby terms where he went AWOL!
I hope to pick my Cabinet from current Congressmen/women. Hell, I even want Congress to do most of the work in each Ministry through their Committee System (Defence & Foreign Affairs may need splitting up .. or Home Affairs and Citizenship being combined). Obviously, for the second half of my term I'll not be in Congress due to eRepublik's rule that CPs cannot run - stupid eRepublik!! And, yes, I realise this may also mean a mid-term reshuffle.
So feel free to volunteer for any post by commenting below or by PM. Existing Congressmen/women will be given priority to Ministerial posts, but "outsiders" can still be picked for deputy roles.
I'll release further articles when the cabinet starts to take shape, at the moment it looks like this:
So if you want a low tax economy & an aggressive (wherever & whenever possible) Foreign Policy, vote for me on Guy Fawkes' Day (Remember, remember .....) if I gain the nomination of at least one party.

Good luck, but I have no idea how you plan to have low taxes and be aggressive.
Not sure how you'd use the committees really. Since their job, afaik, is to make sure the government is doing their job. Please make a more in-depth explanation of that.

To do an Ajay:
1. to strive for political ambitions that are doomed to failure from the start;
2. resembling the failed ideologies and actions of the infamous Ajay Bruno of the online game eRepublik;
3. To create a Political Take Over (PTO) group, move to a new nation, claim to be a "patriotic" native, insult the real natives, and claim that the current administration is trying to PTO itself in a mass conspiracy to deny votes to your own PTO only to see plan fail miserably when no one buys your BS.
I think a new addition is required to this definition:

In defence of Mr Appleby, his performance as Prime Minister is near the top of the list of top performers - he appeared to realise that half the time, the PMs who liked to randomly press the shiny buttons saw the country disappear under the banner of other empires.
It is a bit like an episode of Qi. The contestant who never presses the button and says nothing can often outscore (with a total of zero) many of the other players - even if that other player is merely Alan Davies.
