Most congress candidates and a quite few parties don't even bother to issue a manifesto for congress elections, that's the sort of contempt they treat voters with, there's a few long time congress members who need a spell out of congress to remind them that the voters are in charge not a few self serving, egotistical, idiots who take this dying game far to seriously.

Collective, you're having a laugh, they spend most of the time arguing amongst themselves, you get idiots like chappie who manages about one vote per term, multies and players who have only just started playing who only get a place on the list because they are easily manipulated by their party leaders.

The current congress was elected with 232 votes, which is considerably more than any CP for many months. Congress sets tax rates and it is up to congress(and the CP) to the decide what that rate is. The CP cannot unilaterally decide our tax rate.

Addaway you keep the country in the dark during your term as CP because you're too busy but now it's nearly over you suddenly have time to troll loads of articles.

Also, you want to run a surplus of just 2.5k? With the fluctuations in our tax income you are leaving a very small margin for error. And 30k for prizes? Waste of good tax money.

No, I've based it on 5%; which I will ask Congress to vote on should a) I win, b) my budget is approved. If they reject lowering Work Tax, then I'll run a higher surplus.

But your budget cannot be based on 5% since Congress are not maintaining a 5% rate. Whether or not congress agrees to change the rate down the line is an entirely seperate issue

Because whether you want it is not relevant. The budget is the CPs proposed spending balanced against predicted income at current tax levels. Whether he wants to change tax levels isnt relevant

I don't understand why you're creating some sort of us vs them competition. If people want to run for CP they should be able too regardless of MU. Also if Fata (part of the government) needs to put up COs for the eUK why can't he use the MU he's commander of instead of maybe having to wait for someone else to log in and do it in a different MU.
