[NGP] Lowering Taxes & Congress Elections
Joshua Morriseau
Lowering Taxes:
First off I want to begin by starting a debate on lowering the Import Tax on Weapons Raw Material or also known as WRM. Currently the rate sits at 10%. When WRM only sells for 0.02-0.03 each any imports are not going to make any money. At one point we used to have a low Import Tax but raised it to protect Norwegian WRM producers so that they were given priority and could make money.
However that has changed. I have been watching the market lately and you will notice there are currently only two reasonable offers (those being 0.03) even though people are used to paying only 0.02. It seems that the time has come for us to lower the Import Tax once again as we don't have enough Norwegian WRM producers to keep up the demand. We believe that by letting others import their products that our weapons manufacturers will no longer have to look to the black market to find what they need.
This could even lead to the possible price of weapons going down slightly. The state will have a better opportunity to make more money off more weapons being bought than WRM since there is no VAT Tax for WRM anyways.
Official Proposal: Lower the WRM Import Tax from 10% to 1%
The Norwegian Green Party hopes to seek unanimous support from all other parties and implement these new changes early in the new Congress term.
Please follow and voice your input on the proposal in the current forum discussion.

As you can see we have a full slate of candidates (10) which we are very excited about this term. We have a great mix of some of Norway's most experienced members along with some very new citizens who we hope can integrate nicely into Norway's political landscape.
This term we hope to of course pass the new proposal mentioned above to help stimulate Norway's economy as much as possible. We are also going to look at the possibility of lowering the Import Tax on weapons and possibly even the VAT on weapons. We want to see Norway become financially stable and independent as much as possible. By stimulating our economy through the governments means (raising and lowering taxes) we believe we can do this.
Along with this we will continue to work with our colleagues in Norway's other partys to ensure that our government continues to manage itself smoothly.
This election, vote Green!
New Party Members:
We have been lucky to have some new members join the NGP lately. Please join me in welcoming them along with adding them as friends. It is most important that we bring our new citizens into our society as much as possible to ensure they stay here in Norway and in eRepublik.

Please stop posting your party propaganda on my articles. We can all see the top papers.
That is not my party, that is election analyse! That is not propaganda! You are member of one democratic and liberal party. I have right to write All that does not offend anyone. This is eNorway - country of freedom and free expression. Best regards!
You are a very biased writer.
-You interviewed two Tek members, even though NEC had a better showing than Tek
-Many comments of pro- Tek including
"That is very good results for all of members of Teknokratene. They deserved this
"and especialy congratulation for winners."
If you want to promote unbiased results go for it, but if your going to promote your biased party results on my newspaper that is an article for another party, please don't. I don't post my articles on your's Id expect the same degree of respect back.
I asked your friends from NGP... You can see that.
You're wrong... I asked many people... From other parties, but only these 3 answer to me. If they will answer I'll write that.
You asked one. You never asked other party's. You didn't say good things about other party's. If do a real analysis you will see Tek are not even the big winners, they got 1 more vote than last month. There was only one party who doubled their vote and got a 100% party turn out and it wasn't Tek.
Not to mention Tek had a multi vote, you never talked about that either. Hence biased. All Im asking is you stop using my articles to promote your own.
You're wrong... I asked many people... From other parties, but only these 3 answer to me. If they will answer I'll write that.
Im stating how i feel. You don't need to advertise on my articles, there are only 3 articles out so everyone will see them.
