** PEACE GC Attacks Alaska Again!

The eUSA extends its gratitude to all of our allies who helped us repel the first invasion of Alaska launched by Russia and PEACE GC. But now they're at it again! Citizens are urged to move to a Q5 hospital region (Florida, New Jersey or Kansas) to get the most fights per day (5), the highest damage-inflicting ability and the most wellness gain per hospital (50 points). Our enemies were not satisfied with our narrow victory last time in our defense of Alaska. Citizens who can afford weapons are urged to buy them. Let's show the warlords that they can't mess with U.S. of A. and fight for Alaska. We and our allies drove them into the Bering Strait once before and we can do it again! Sovereign territory of eUSA has never been taken by PEACE GC before, although they came close in the last battle for Alaska. Don't let them think they can march upon American soil and impose their rule by force without receving the fight of their lives! Citizens - this is the time to show them what we stand for! All military personnel must defer to the orders of their commanding officers, which may be different than those for the general population. The American war machine is running, folks! Let's give 'em a taste of what a united America working together with our friends and allies can do!

** War Update

Round 3: After 24 hours since losing the battle for Alaska, Russia has attacked again. The counterattack against France was not successful in pushing them out of Nova Scotia and France has launched a counterattack against Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. All military personnel are ordered to follow commands issued by your Commanding Officers.

** eUS Training Division

Citizens can rely on information from official publications to give information about where to fight. However, if you would like to get real-time orders based on information gathered from high-level intelligence to make the best use of our military firepower, citizens are encouraged to enlist in the eUnited States Training Division (TD) to defend our borders and also fight abroad without ever having to leave eUSA. Another benefit to being a member of the TD is that recruits will learn the best ways to navigate through eRepublik and making the best use of forums and understanding of game mechanics which go beyond just military actions. Many of our newest citizens have graduated from being “2-clickers” and have become some of our most active citizens as a result of their enrollment in the eUS TD.

If you are interested in joining eUS TD, you can enlist at this link. Wartime has provided an increase in citizens wishing to enroll in the military to defend our country, so you may not get a quick response. Please be patient for assignment to a platoon leader in the best eRepublik training division in the world!

Embargo of eUK

We had been with negotiations with eUK in the past about being a key member in the Fortis alliance. After much debate, we had finally agreed to meet eUK’s demands last week in alliance negotiations, but they still rejected us even after we agreed to their terms. The eUK has continued to persist with unreasonable protectionist import taxes that make it impossible for its allies to trade with them in any finished goods, while we have opened our markets to them. In addition, eUK has been negotiating with nations such as Hungary, which has resulted in PEACE GC’s increased fronts against North America which has led to the attacks which have started this war. In response to this, the Canadian congress and the congress of eUSA have overwhelming approved a trade embargo on eUK. The nations of North America are sending a strong message to eUK. While we are disappointed with the recent choices made by eUK, if they wish to remain a neutral country rather than open its allies to attack from PEACE GC in the future, we will respect that and hope we will be able to restore better relations with eUK in the future. It is up to eUK and its citizens who elect their officials to decide how important they believe a transatlantic relationship will be and how they choose to show their friendship in the future.

Party President Elections

Today, Day 603, is election day for party presidents. To avoid the chance of political takeovers (PTOs) which are attempted during election days, citizens are urged to vote for the candidates they know and not candidates they never heard about until recently. Party president election day tends to have the lowest turnout of each of the election days but, for this reason, it is even more important to vote because low turnouts make it easier for PTOs to occur.

Foreign Relations

Have you ever wondered how we communicate with other nations? We have an Ambassadorial Department in which citizens are appointed as ambassadors for eUSA to other countries. Our ambassadors seek to understand other countries’ needs and objectives and work as a liason between their government and ours to promote understanding between the nations and working in conjunction with our State Department to develop better relations with other countries. We as a nation have grown and understand how important it is to develop good relations, both trade and military, with other nations and especially the developing nations of eRepublik.
