[New Era] James Scarlet for PP!

Dear Members of New Era,
I, James Scarlet, have decided to run for my first PP term. I believe that while I may not be the most experienced candidate, I am the perfect for the position. I have been here long enough to be a serious opponent, while still encompassing New Era’s message of Youth First.
Profile:
I have been a Congress Member twice for New Era, and have worked for the MoFA three times to date. I have a wonderful understanding of the government and its ministries. I was one of the people that accepted Don’s PM inviting to join the party. I was a faithful member of the Bulldog’s Military Unit, but switched to the Legion for better supplies and the chance to meet new people.
On Policy:
I believe that New Era needs a centralized, neat, and easily understandable set of guidelines to guide our Congress members in Policy Making. I propose writing a Constitution. One of the earlier attacks on NE’s policy was that it was never written down and was different from person to person. Creating a Constitution, written by the members of the party, would resolve that.
Also, war is to be declared as a priority of the Party. However, I believe diplomacy is always king. If we don’t have solid allies we can’t attack anybody. I fully support signing an MPP or NAP with Ireland, once they join CoT, thereby getting rid of an entire front we could be attacked on.
Media and Membership:
We have kept our heavy media presence, of which I applaud you. I intend to keep and expand our current media influence, which is of great help in recruiting.
Speaking of recruiting, seeing as how our current membership is around 190, I challenge myself and the rest of the party to increase that to at least 250 party members by the time December Congress elections roll around.
Congress and CP Candidates:
First, congartulations to Big Ant on his election!
In the upcoming month I would like to run a New Era Candidate for CP. It would be a huge milestone; boosting our influence, member number, and again solidify our place as a serious Party in the Top Five.
Congress members will be selected, in a way similar to Goku’s process with a few tweaks. I intend to get newer members elected to Congress and see that older or more experienced people will be placed high up in government.
VP and Political Titles:
I intend, like the PPs before me, to offer the Vice Party President seat the person who comes in second to me.
Spokesman will be the person who has the most active voice and newspaper. They will not be a Congress member. They will be in charge of Party graphics and helping organize the media campaign.
Secretary General will be the most powerful and active member in the military. They will advise the PP on military matters such as Natural Enemy proposals. They are allowed to be a Congress member.
Councillor will be the wisest and most politically experienced member of the Party. They will advise the PP on policy matters, law proposals, and will help with Congress selection and CP selection.They are allowed to be a Congress member.
On Inter-Party Cooperation and Communication:
I believe that cooperation is key. The eUK does not have this cooperation. If you want proof look at our CP Election articles. Look at the snide comments. Look at the ridiculous PMs. Our nation is torn, divided. I believe that becoming less hateful, having more cooperation, and clever, witty, debate. I am sick of all the arguing between sides. I am tired of all the unintelligible insults being thrown at other citizens. You look like children, all of you. And New Era is one of the biggest offenders. I am NOT saying you need to suddenly become chummy with TUP and Co., but show a little respect and dignity. We are not five-year olds. Are we?
In conclusion, I will use all of my power to further this great party. I want nothing but a better eUK and a better eLife for all.

Voted and good luck. Bit hesitant about running a CP candidate yet, for me it would depend on if there was a very suitable candidate in UKPP running for example. Last thing we would want is to split our vote because TUP/UKRP and often ESO block vote in CP elections.

@Hugh: I understand your concerns. Perhaps we could start grooming someone for the role.
@Sexagenarian: While having a bit more money would be great, the side effects would be suicidal. If the UK doesn't have money, we won't have MPPs or Call to Arms. I believe that a tax cut would be inappropriate at this time.
Grooming, I don't know why but that amused me...well I do know why...I won't say anymore.
@sexagenarian : I would say this is a good quality to have, James has a opinion of his own and doesn't just walk like a zombie with the majority (Disclaimer: No congress members are zombies)

tax reduction doesn't mean a reduction in collected money. since the activity is fostered. I understand that this is difficult to understand for many. A high import tax collects NOTHING, a low import tax collects SOMETHING, for example, an see my articles about the subject.
