[My Way forward] Of Professionalism and Accountability
Asmitatheone
I think India was served well all this while by a team of very dedicated and emotional band of players. They did well to bring India where we are now.
Things have changed, and the dedication is definitely missing. As much as we need them for their dedication, knowledge and emotional bonding, they are moving off. We need everyone of them. I implore every eIndian to get them back.
Having said that, the ages have changed. We have moved to the last resort to get (new/old) eIndian active, that is money. Of course, the old ones wouldnt care much for the paltry sums, but the new ones would definitely move. In the basest form of interpretation, this is bribery. But again, if it works for eIndia so be it.
But we can definitely term it better and make the best of it. I term it as professionalism. If we decipher this game in an unemotional way, I find this is a GAME. People play this for fun, so what are the take aways?
1. A mode to relax
2. Makes you feel patriotic, as we are doing something for the country virtually, when we cant in RL.
3. The freedom to do what you want to do, and whenever you want to do. No punishments for not doing it.
4. With time, you get a competetive spirt and want to excel or be ahead of someone.
Maybe some more points, but no point boring you all with it.
Now lets turn the running of this country into a professionally(changing bribe, into a better term) run one.
We start paying players for the services rendered. So we all have a zeal and a reason to work hard, i.e. earn more. But then induce professionalism in it. Lets make those players accountable for their responsibilities. The CP gets paid by 5g and a lot of respect, I think there is no dearth of players who want to be the CP. Lets pay all cabinet ministers and position be paid. But for that, let them have their targets and they will need to achieve them. If they cant, they either make way to others who can and forget their payments.
Lets move ahead to change all functions on the same line. Lets have proper cabinet meetings. Let all positions assessment be approved by the cabinet, so that the CP doesnt have all the power. If the work is satisfactory the player concerned will probably continue even after the the CP term is over, since (lets face it) all CPs want to do good work to make a mark in the history of eIndia.
This is just a seed of an idea. We have already started paying, lets put in some systems to make sure the money is going in the right direction and ends up in productive results.
I am really enthusiatic about this. I havent really thought of all the aspect, but am most willing to debate it. Lets see how things go. I would love to hear the negatives, I would want to justify them logically and find the right answers.
Asmita, after ages.....
PS: I am not good with colourful stuff...so pardon me if it is boring

i agree we need a cabinet meeting
Well, basically you got the deepest understanding of the game (we could call it so for convenience).
Why ?
Because, anyhow, those who are "in charge" got the money too, beside power (wich, is much more apreciated and could not be payed).
However, the elders could not be interested anymore, not even for money (if they where interested abt money they are allready rich, if they where not - they're not : D ).
For youngsters this (payment) could be a way to avoid temptation of stealing.
@Mainu: Come to eIndia, we need you!!

I'm sure every president would love to have a cabinet meeting. It helps with a lot of coordination.
However, the main concern is timezone - a good time for someone would be 4am for someone else.
To conclude, Maniu come back! We have much to talk about concerning chai. : P
Wall of Text 😒
@abhi347: Sorry I am not very colourful with my articles. I write when I really have to say something. The content is important to me and I hope for those reading.
No disrespect for the the colourful ones though!!
@alector I think we could work out a common timezone
Asmita, great article. I admire the enthusiasm showed here, as i admire enthusiasm of great deal of players in eIndia with recent projects and concepts.
Unfortunately i cannot shake the impression that this game is crap, and i have a bad feeling presenting this game to anyone. So the impression is that whatever you do here can be ingenious, but wont have effect desired, cause the basic principles of the game are crap.
Anyway GL with everything!
