[MU] Sleepless in LEA [한/EN]

지난 이틀은 저에게 있어 끔찍한 경험이였습니다. 레고를 뉴비군대로 바꾸는 문제에 대해서 정부 관계자와 아침까지 이야기를 해야했습니다.

이 문제는 관계자들이 이번 계획에 대해 서로 다른 의견을 가지고 있었고 이를 당초에 문서화하지 않았기 때문에 발생했다고 생각합니다.

제가 생각했던 계획은 정부에서 신규유저를 레고에 보내면 레고에서 그들을 교육하고 훈련시키고, 대신 정부에서 이를 도와주기 위해 물품을 지원하는 거였습니다.

그게 전부였습니다. 또한 저는 그동안 레고에서 해왔던 방법이 좋은 결과를 냈다고 생각했기 때문에 특별히 정부에게 신규유저를 레고 방식으로 도울수 있도록 해달라고 요청했습니다. 실제로 레고는 2달 미만의 짧은 기간동안 한국 군대중 첫번째 자리를 차지했습니다. 이미 좋은 성과를 내고 있는 상태에서 왜 방법을 바꿔야할까요?

그러므로 합의안에 정부에서 레고를 인수하는건 포함되지 않고, 또한 정부는 레고의 운영방식을 마음대로 바꿀수 없습니다.

저는 그들이 좋은 의견이 있다면 언제든 의견을 나눌수 있지만 실제로 뭔가를 변경하기 위해서는 그 전에 충분한 토론이 선행되어야 합니다.

어찌됐든, 정부에서 생각한 계획과 제가 생각했던 계획은 다른점이 있었고 이로 인해 정부와 레고간에 레고 운영방법에 관련된 부분에 있어서 누가 권한을 가지는지에 대해 많은 혼란이 있었습니다.

지난 이틀간 이야기를 나눈 결과 다음과 같이 결정하게 되었습니다:
- 레고는 더이상 신규유저 부대가 아니며 정규 부대로 돌아갑니다.
- 레고는 계속해서 정부나 관계기관과 함께 우리의 최종목표인 영토수복을 위해 함께 할것입니다.
- 레고는 독립적으로 운영되며, 앞으로도 부대의 활성화와 유저의 정착을 위해 노력할것 입니다.
- 레고 부대원은 원한다면 언제든지 레고를 떠나 원하는 부대에 들어갈수 있습니다.
- 비록 부스터 사용을 적극 권장하긴 하지만 사용이 힘들 경우 강제하지 않겠습니다. 부스터 사용을 필수사항으로 하는 대신 사용하는 사람에게 보상을 해주도록 하겠습니다.

마지막으로 지난 몇일간 있었던 혼란에 대해 공식적으로 사과를 하고 싶습니다. 한 부대의 커맨더로써, 저는 신문이 발표될때까지 아무것도 모르고 있었습니다. 그리고 이 문제를 해결하는데 2일이나 걸렸습니다. 너무 오래 걸렸죠.

지난 일은 지난 일입니다. 과거를 되돌릴수는 없음으로 향후 이런일이 다시 발생하지 않도록 발전해 나갔으면 합니다.


The last two nights has been a terrible experience for me. I have to deal with this issue with the government regarding the deal we have for changing our MU into a newbie MU until very early in the morning.

I think the problem with the deal was that each of us who were involved in the discussion have a different version of what this plan means, this is mainly caused by the fact that there were no written agreement at the end.

My version of the agreement IS simply that we will allow the government to send newbies to our MU to train and educate them for the government, and in exchange we will give some governmental assistance for this.

That's it, and I specifically ask the government for us to continue have the right to operate the MU in our own way, this is because I believe strongly that it works for us in our short history, we are now the #1 rank MU in eSK in less than 2 months, why would we want to change our way if we are doing well?

The agreement hence DO NOT include a government takeover, and the government shall not make any change to the operation of the MU.

We are happy to discuss with them as always if they have good ideas, but any actual changes have to be discussed with us first.

However, their version of the agreement is a bit different to mine, and hence this created a lot of confusion between LEA and the government about how controls the MU, and who has the right to change the way we do things.

As a result of our talks in the past two days, the outcome is as followe😛
- LEA will no longer be a newbie MU, we will be a regular MU once again
- LEA will continue to work with the government and any interested bodies, and individuals to accomplish our ultimate goal to restore eSK
- LEA will be operating independently, and we will continue to reform in order to bring more activeness in our MU as well as increase retention of players.
- LEA members will be free to leave the MU and join any MU based on their own preference if they have decided to leave.
- Although this is highly recommended, LEA will not force its members to use boosters, especially when they cannot afford to do it. Instead of making it a mandatory things to do, we will instead reward people for doing it.

Finally, I would like to take the chance to official apologise for the confusion and chaos caused in the past few days. As the leader of the MU, I did not know about this until the news article was published. And it took 2 days for me to resolve this, which clearly is a bit too long.

What's done is done, we cannot undo history but I will look for improvement so this will not happen again in the future.

P.S> To be fair with the MoH, he has been helpful to our MU in the past few weeks, so I'd like to think it is a matter of a minor disagreement.
