Competition drives us to be better to do better. With a lack of any real competition a race isn’t a race, it is just running.

This has been a bit of a boring race. I didn’t have any real competition until now. It has been difficult to write my articles because there wasn’t anything to prove. I like competitive races because it gives us all something to focus on even if it’s just for a few days. I posted on every board and the only real questions I got were from SFP.

It is a sad state of affairs when no one seems interested in who is going to be their CP.

Whether we realize it or not the competition of the CP races helps us stay active and interested.

I have always been very passionate about Citizen Affairs. The domestic agenda is very important to me. If you look back in my articles at my previous term you will see that most of that term was focused on Citizen Affairs.

You can expect the same from me this term because while war is good and fun, you need domestic programs to help everyone to be able to fight in those wars. There are a number of people out there that are not “rich” and not able to fight to the best of their ability because they don’t have the tools to do so.

I have one verified revamped program ready to go at the beginning of my term as well as an idea for another rattling around in my brain.

Right now DoCA is not funded through congress unless we prove a program works. I understand this mentality, but unfortunately it means we have to run it out of our own pockets until we can prove it works. We were able to get funding for AARP this term and will most likely be able to get it again for mine. But that leaves us with nothing for new projects because I am not rich.

The program AARP+ will not be continuing in my administration one because WDIB was funding it from his own pocket and two it doesn’t seem to be very popular. I think if there was a way to run it without the discord requirement it might be able to be salvaged but we’d need the finances to do so.

That leads me to the idea that is rattling around in my brain. I want to start up a lottery in order to raise funds to help DoCA get new programs started. Unfortunately I don’t know how to run a lottery but I would love a volunteer who believes they can run one, so if you know how to do it send me a pm and let's get you started.

As always I am open to new ideas because the players are ultimately responsible for the community just as much as the government is. Bring me ideas, even ones you aren’t sure will work but think might be worth a try.

My PM’s are always open and my discord is always online... just try not to ping me at 3am pacific. I’m sleeping.
I'm not playing a role. I'm being myself, whatever the hell that is.
