[Mr Crumpets 4 CP] So close, yet so far
Mr Crumpets
Good Morning eAustralia,
This morning we must face the day with the reality that we lost.
I've always been honest with you and today is no different.
How am I feeling? Gutted.
For the first time in a long time, I was bringing a new approach to the table for Foreign Affairs.
The pieces were falling into place. China was making it's move, South Africa was possibly interested and others eNations were talking to us about action.
Now we'll go back to the past, which is ironic, since my critics said on election day I was for the same-old, same-old, when the reality is, my opponent (the new CP) is the one advocating for the approach we tried in December - it seem logic was never their strong suit.
To my supporters, especially those in the Green and Gold Party, a very special thank you. Couldn't have done it without you guys.
Thank you as well to the ARP for their endorsement and to Larni who I consulted on a couple of positions with (especially when asking about some new players and what they can do).
There will be more details from me in an interview with Nicky3Fingers at a later stage.
Thank you...
Mr Crumpets

Hold on there Mr C - you still have a chance. If this administration tries the same old things then they will have the same old results, and everyone will see more clearly that we need a different direction.
Or if the impeachment passes...
I was talking to Larni yesterday, and even she agreed with me that it would be best to go to CoT first, before trying something else. If the relationship cannot be repaired or they give us an answer that does not guarantee anything, then and only then should we pursue other options. I believe in the falling month the MoFA should be about keeping all options on the table and not making any hasty decisions without considering all possible angles.
You gave it a great shot, MC.
You had a amazing run mate.
The reason KHMC and I supported Tim was
a) He is a fellow KH
b) Many others and myself have watched so many attempts of war against Indonesia and co fail. The allies from the other side can't always help us. Yes china go smashing through Indonesia once every 3 months giving us a break.. But Indonesia recovers and focuses straight on eAustralia. After 5 years of losing, I want to see this new approach of allying with Indonesia and co go through. It is something new. Something that hasn't been tried in 5 years. I want, no I need it to be successful.
Yes we are a military party and yes we LOVE war. But it's time we try this approach 🙂
Love you and your work. I want you to be CP one day. But let's see how this CoT idea works out
If its not Indonesia it's Chile. You get my point tho.
Bad luck Crumpets. You did give it a good shot and i'm sure you would make a great CP. There's always next time mate.
Lets be honest MC, you came in at the last minute and gave it a solid shot. You should be very happy with your result. Val (3rd comment here) was the only one who actually asked for answers about the MoFA policy and as he says above he agrees with what we were planning. Unfortunately fear mongering saw the truth of what you were proposing was missed.
Still awesome result from a campaign that was less than a week long.
CoT is proven to be a joke. Keep on truckin.
Good run. The result does show how uncertain Australians feel about the future and how tenuous Indochile have made our future with CoT. No clear majority means both debates are still open... the Treaty option just got a reprieve.
There is time for all strategies. Keep being heard.
Maybe next month mate. A good crack though, well done.
