Country Treasury

The chart shows the amount of pure gold as well as the gold value for local currency (NOK) and foreign currencies. Gold values for all currencies are calculated by using the respective exchange rates on the particular day.

As one can see, the treasury value drops early in the month. The major value drop was caused by a transfer of NOK 40,000 on Apr 6 to The Bank of Norway to secure the values as the signs of a PTO became obvious the previous day. The turmoil of several regions being occupied by eUK and eRussia the is reflected in the treasury values the following days. On April 25, the value has a dip caused by a congress proposal to transfer SEK to The Bank of Norway. At the same time, the NOK exchange rate stabilises back to 0.012 gold after being a bit higher for a while.

Salaries

The chart shows the development in gold values for the minimum and average wages in April.

Since national income is based on taxes, one can notice that the country treasury development as described above is following the gold value of average wages. The job market situation was chaotic during the PTO and war days. The minimum wage value is directly influenced by the exchange rate at all times.

Economy in general

The chart shows the April gross domestic product (GDP) per day as well as exports/imports value measured in gold.

The economy picked up quick after the PTO was resolved, but with some variations along the way. The month seen as a whole, the GDP value went down from 853 on April 1, to 735 gold at the end of the month.
