Join the new world

I took this interview over the in-game messaging service, and would like to thank PerceptorP for participating in this exercise. 🙂

Q1. Please tell me your history in eRepublik?

A1. Well, I started this game on Nov 15... Since the date was near the Congress elections, I decided to run for congress, win with a huge margin and lead eIndia to rank 1in a glorious campaign 😃 Well, frankly, that didn’t happen (yet) But I plan to do it soon 😉 I joined DPI and have been a part of the super-secret DPI-EC (jk, its pretty much public 😛) for the last 2 months.. In exibot’s term, I joined the MoMC and the Ambassador program to gain more knowledge about eIndia’s workings.. I also joined the MoF under Jack Lantos as a deputy.. Same reason as before.. But sadly, due to unexpected RL issues, I couldn’t participate in the process as much as I would have liked to.

Q2. Why the party that you are representing?

A2.When I joined erep, I joined some random party. But later, after checking out the media, I decided to join DPI because it supported noobs... Note: This does not mean that only DPI supported and helped me. Many people from various parties and MUs (and the govt of course) helped me grow.. It’s just that I thought I could grow more (in politics) with the support of DPI..

Q3. What is your personal vision for eIndia?

A3.Apart from being rank 1, I want an eIndia with an active and booming media, great foreign relations and an army(not tanks, mind you, an army of armed and dangerous eIndians 😃) which can be counted among the most powerful in erep history... And MOST IMPORTANTLY, an awesome community of players.

Q4. What do you want to do differently than the current administration?

A4.Given a chance (and money,a lot of it 😉), I would like to improve the loan system, improve the media, improve the military and pretty much anything else which has scope for improvement.. And retain many new people and entice foreigner’s to migrate and become hard-core eindians 😃 Some ideas were cancelled due to funding problems, so I would like to fill the government treasury too..

Q5. How would you help n00bs like me to stay in the game?

A5. The RT has been doing a legendary job... But giving food and weapons daily doesn’t help a noob stay in the game and be active, it encourages him to two-click instead. So, mentoring plans like Ashwamedh’s and eUSA’s should be installed in eIndia.. This will help noobs see the inner working of the nation which goes a lot beyond 2-clicking.

Q6. What do you think about issues like 4 MUs for a small nation like ours?

A6.I think having so many MUs is not a problem, as long as they are all co-ordinated and have the same targets.. I believe that if used properly, our soldiers can make a collective difference in any battle 😃

Q7. What do you think about the various political parties? Do you think there is scope for a possible unification between some of them?

A7.Yes, there is always scope for unification.. But at the same time, I don’t want only 1 party monopolising the Congress.. I want healthy competition which will help eIndia.

Q8. What can we expect a month later at the end of your term? How much would have changed?

A8.Hopefully, a better eIndia in all fields.. I plan to mentor some newbies and contribute my 2 cents to retention which according to me, has the biggest potential for eIndia’s growth.
