Dear citizens
In this issue I will talk about our state run companies, the job market situation in eAustria and the money market.
I State run Companies

State run companies should serve two purposes. They should provide jobs to citizens who would not get a job in a private company (wrong skill, low wellness) and therefore would lose their hard worker medal. And they should supply other state run companies with RM or state run organisations (like Bundesheer or Education with product they need. Right now the Ministry of Labor controls five companies (two of them for RM) to make sure we can meet the needs of the people.
Those five companies are:
- Austrian State Food
- Austrian State Weapons
- Austrian State Gifts
- Austrian State Grain
- Voest Alpine
All of them but Voest Alpine are situated in eAustria and with the return of Lower Austria our market finally regained access to reasonable cheap grain.
With these companies we can produce everything we need for a war without being dependant on the market. ASGr, ASGi and ASF provide jobs for the people while ASW should work with the highest possible efficiency. We are still looking for HS/HW (high skill/high wellness) workers for ASW so please contact me if you want to support the government.
The state run companies do not want to compete with the free market. But sometimes it might be necessary to provide the market with cheap goods to supply our people.
II Workforce

As mentioned in my latest Special Report every economy needs workers. Because these workers not only produce but also consume!
The Baby Boom is working pretty well and today we crossed the 650 mark which is the highest figure since over a month! But the eAustrian economy needs more workers. Right now we have exactly 100 job offers for all skills and levels. This means wages are higher than ever but I want to warn new citizens not to take high quality jobs. Wellness is the most precious thing in eRepublik and once you lost it it’s hard to get it back. Without a house you need food to recover wellness and often the wages are just not enough to get the lost wellness back. So rather get a q1 job in the beginning and train your skills until you can effort to lose more wellness during work.
III Monetary Market

As you all read in the latest report of the MoF the current situation at the monetary market is planned. The MoF will have a look at all transactions and make sure that the ATS remains stable. We plan ahead for a rather long time so please to not judge the efforts of the MoF too quickly.

In dieser Ausgabe möchte ich über die staatlichen Betreibe, den Arbeitsmarkt in eÖsterreich und den Finanzmarkt sprechen.
I Staatliche Betriebe

Staatliche Betriebe sollen zwei Bedingungen erfüllen: sie sollen denen Bürgern einen Arbeitplatz bieten die in der Privatwirtschaft nicht angestellt werden (falscher Skill, niedrige Wellness) und daher ihre Hard Worker Medaille verlieren würden. Und sie sollen die anderen staatliche Betriebe und die staatlichen Organisationen (wie etwa Bundesheer or Education) mit den benötigten Produkten versorgen.
Zurzeit kontrolliert das Arbeitsministerium fünf Betriebe (zwei davon für Rohstoffe) um die Bedürfnisse der Menschen zu befriedigen.
Diese fünf Betriebe sin
- Austrian State Food
- Austrian State Weapons
- Austrian State Gifts
- Austrian State Grain
- Voest Alpine
Mit der Ausnahme von Voest Alpine befinden sich alle Betriebe in eÖsterreich und mit der Rückkehr von Niederösterreich haben wir auch wieder Zugang zu Getreide zu vernünftigen Preisen.
Mit diesen Betrieben können wir alles Nötige für einen längeren Krieg herstellen ohne vom Markt abhängig zu sein. ASGr, ASGi und ASF bieten Arbeitsplätze für jeden an während das ASW möglichst effizient arbeiten soll. Wir suchen noch immer nach HS/HW (high skill/high wellness) Arbeiter, daher meldet euch bitte wenn ihr die Regierung auf diese Weise unterstützen wollt.
Die staatlichen Betriebe wollen nicht mit dem freien Markt konkurrieren. Aber manchmal wird es notwendig sein den Markt mit billigen Gütern zu versorgen, um die Bevölkerung zu unterstützen.

Wie ich in meiner letzten Sonderausgabe berichtet habe braucht jede Wirtschaft Arbeiter. Denn diese Arbeiter produzieren ha nicht nur, sondern sie konsumieren auch!
Der Baby Boom verläuft gut und heute haben wir erstmals seit über einem Monat die Marke von 650 Bürgern überschritten. Aber die österreichische Wirtschaft braucht noch viel mehr Arbeiter! Momentan haben wir genau 100 Jobangebote für alle möglichen Level und Skills offen. Das bedeutet zwar dass die Löhne so hoch wie schon lange nicht mehr sind, aber ich möchte alle neuen Bürger davor warnen in Betrieben mit hoher Qualität zu arbeiten. Wellness ist das wertvollste Gut in eRepublik und wenn man es erst mal verloren hat ist es nur sehr schwer wiederzubekommen. Ohne ein Haus benötigt man Nahrungsmittel um die Wellness wieder zu erhöhen und sehr oft reicht der Lohn dazu nicht aus. Daher sollte man anfangs lieber in einem q1 Betrieb arbeiten, seine Skills trainieren und dann probieren ob man es sich leisten kann, bei der Arbeit mehr Wellness zu verlieren.

Wie ihr alle im letzten Bericht des MoF lessen konntet ist die momentane Situation am Finanzmarkt durchaus gewollt. Das MoF hat ein Auge auf alle Transaktionen und wird alles dafür tun, den ATS möglichst stabil zu halten. Wir planen sehr weit voraus daher möchte ich euch bitten keine vorschnellen Schlüsse zu ziehen.
