[MoI] Double UK government interview - Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Entertainment

Day 2,796, 04:41 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Max Blue
In this article I am going to be speaking to the UK's two MoD's Scarfar and Sir Jimmy Savile and the UK's two Ministers of Entertainment, Rob the Bruce and gali2332. *Advanced warning: Rob mentions banter.*

Ministers of Defence - Scarfar and Sir Jimmy Savile

1) What are the plans to keep activity and organisation high during the UK's occupation?

We will continue to update orders regularly in the SAS messages, googledoc and articles. We will continue to hand out weapons to help people fight, and we might hold a competition or a tournament in the future.

2)What should the average player/soldier be doing today? (holding fights/going on the IRC at a specific time/getting involved in a scheme/anything else)

UK fighters should not be using more than their *FF's (food fights) each day. In the event that Argentina do not want to give us and Ireland our countries back, we will attempt a liberation so players should start saving for that. Check MoD articles for "Call to Arms" or other events we might do. Check #MoD for supplies and for the most up-to-date orders. And we also have a gdoc with priorities on.

*FF's or food fights are the amount of times you can fight without using energy bars so just the fights you can do with health recovered by food. As it takes 10 health per fight, 100 health equals 10 fights. 10 'fights' using food not energy bars equals 10 food fights.

3) How can players keen to get more into the military side of the game get involved, and how can people help the MoD?

If you want to help the MoD just ask either of us (Sir Jimmy Savile or Scarfar) and we can find you something to do. As for getting into the military side of the game for young players I suggest building up your strength, doing 25 kills per day and fighting with Q7 weapons to increase your rank quicker.

Ministers of Entertainment - Rob the Bruce and Gali2332

1)What are the plans for the MoEnt this month?

We are seeing about running some competitions on other games (looking at Crusader Kings 2 currently but it depends if the new DLC breaks anything or not). We also have plans for Viking Island (VI) which we'll try and get going shortly. VI will be drastically different from the previous version and Dictator Island (DI). It will be more like a proper strategy game, rather than just role playing (like the previous version of VI).

Hopefully we can come up with a nice competition and we might do some interviews. If we run out of ideas we will roll out daily meme articles as a last resort.

2) How can people get involved with the MoEnt?

People can get involved by sending either of us (Rob the Bruce or Gali2332) ideas or prize monies we can use. If you can help some other way, again send one of us a message and we'll most likely be able to find something for you to do. Things that you might be asked to do include but are not limited to:

- Conducting interviews
- Maintaining the mass chat message (GPFF message)

tl;dr: just ask us, fam

3)How can the MoEnt support people with entertainment ideas?

If people come to us (Gali2332 and Rob the Bruce) asking for our help then yes, we will do our utmost to make that entertainment idea as successful as possible. We'll give it some publicity and see if we can beg Mr Woldy or others for some prize money.

In summary:

[Editors note: the responses of both Ministers were combined to make one response rather than giving you bits of information from each.]
