[MoHA] New Citizen Message & Future Plans
eBe Raw
eBelgian Citizens,
As planned, the new citizen message has recently gone into effect. Unfortunately, the 1500 character limit led to the message being cut shorter than intended. Below is the final copy of the message that was passed by Mr. Wonka on day 2276.
The message itself has all the contents of the original, however the descriptions for each of the links are much shorter.
With regards to the National Health Service, over 100,000 health was kindly donated from players across the world and with that the ability to run the programme for several weeks. That being said, donations are still welcome and can be sent to Viridi (MoHA) or MrWonka (CP).
The spreadsheet for the programme contains all the relevant information including players that are currently in the NHS, and our daily expenses/income. Anyone is free to take a look, and all players level 30 or under may sign up. You only need to sign up once to receive food!
The rest of the month will see a joint project between the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Education in creating and maintaining guides in an effort to better teach new players how the game is played and how they can get a head start amongst their peers in other countries. Additionally, a scheme to promote activity as well as raise money for the state will be announced within the coming days.
More updates soon. o/
Warm regards,
Minister of Home Affairs
Viridi

"demander" => "demandez" !
Thanks for catching that. I'll pass it on to Mr. Wonka.
Support!
Mr. Wonka is not going to be CP forever. So, there should stan😛 President of Belgium
or, we will have to change that message every month.
Yep, that's the plan. Additionally, the cabinet does not stay the same every month so that will be changed also. 🙂

When changing the message, keep in mind that links for articles can be really short.
This article: erepublik.com/en/article/2374368
However some browsers can have a problem with it and a little longer but fail safe is www.erepublik.com/en/article/2374368
It will save you as lot of space in the message.
For the translations you could use an ingame article, so erepublik will not ask if you want to go there.
I wouldn't say "-Als je een nederlandse vertaling nodig hebt, vraag het aub", but "A Dutch translation you can find here", that is shorter and doesn't give the idea a translation will be made after you ask for it.
Anyways, good message. Keep up the good work and good luck!
