Day 3,785, 09:15 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by eUK Home Office

Weekly Press Release - Sunday 01/04/2018.

Happy Easter eggs everyone! This is the press release for the week gone, where the government publishes updates from each Minister about what they’ve been doing, where they are and where they are going.

It’s a good idea to subscribe to this paper to follow the updates and games published by the MoHA.

Ministerial updates

Prime Minister - Jamesw:
“So this week has seen various trials with COs, and a new strike format, which rewards people with a handsome CO for logging in at the normal strike time. Attendance was way up on normal, I'm assuming because of the ease of access: no need to read articles, no need to apply or post: just click on the war page and find the battle. So this may be a strike thing that we look at continuing in the future: MoD and I will discuss this over the coming days.

Outside of that, our CO trials have been somewhat hit and miss. Hit in that I have pretty much found an affordable formula that isn't wasting our money, miss in that it's going to take some time to used to it. Over the past 3 days i've worked out about half of the UK's damage output: whilst in the right battle, was done by people who hadn't clicked on the CO, and so didn't receive anything. I'm sure as time goes on, this will quickly change and people will begin to benefit from the change in funding structure.

Alfa is back, and as usual keeping my inbox busy with upset forigs. Finland are apparently super upset and want to AS us, which is nothing new anyway. The thing I don't understand, more than anything, is the logic behind their thought process:
See UK player > ??? > MUST BE WORKING ON BEHALF OF UK GOVERNMENT

So after receiving lots of poor engrish effs and jeffs, I got a bit bored of replying and just let them get it off their chest. Other than that, I've been finalizing our new group messages, and putting the finishing touches on some other MoD programs that dave and I have been hoping to push out - keep your eyes peeled for those in the next few days!”

Minister of Finance - Huey George:
“The MoF has continued with the recording our daily snapshots of the economy eUK to add to the long-term records and managing our Government and BoE Trust Monetary Market Investments.”

Minister of Foreign Affairs - Aaron Mark Daniels:
“Yo so I’ve been researching our alliance history heavily as that’s something I wish to get completed in the near future. Other than that it’s been the usual thing of forig talking and preparations etc.”

Minister of Defence - Dave Trenga:
“This week MoD, together with CP have been discussing and considering an alternative to the reward scheem for MUs. MoD have also attempted to keep orders up to date and public. Sundays national scheem has been cancelled due to Easter but will be back and continuing from next Sunday.”

Minister of Home Affairs - Mr Woldy:
“Things have dialled down over Easter due to natural holidays and my birthday, so there’s not going to be a great Scott! This week; however there is a caption competition and Joshinius has been doing a great job running the which doesn’t belong competition, which has had a second issue published this week!”

Caption Competition!

PerilousPanther won lasts week Caption Comp, and seeing as it is easter I have scoured the internet for the most easter-relevant yet caption-able picture I could find...

This week, I offer the following:
