[MoFA] Weekly Update Number 1

Day 2,301, 09:57 Published in Norway Norway by ivan.europe

Greetings fellow readers from eNorway and the Rest of the World. This is my first article since I became Minister of Foreign Affairs 4 days ago. Each Sunday I'll present to you the latest news surrounding the international relations in Norway and all around the world.

The first news come from the alliance expansions. Three of the alliances got new members, while a new one was formed - Aurora. The new alliances consisting of 7 nations - Bulgaria, Republic of Macedonia(also known as FYROM), Ireland, Germany, Chile, Paraguay and Indonesia was officially formed on March 3rd. It is unknown if it will be pro-oriantated to one of the main alliances or in-between alliance with neutral tone towards Asteria and Sirus.

Speaking of Asteria and Sirius they increased the number of members with 1 new for each. China has decided to go with Asteria after a long period of hiatus in the international politics after the end of EDEN. Sirius on the other hand have announced their newest addition - Brazil. Brazil has been a victim to the attacks of Argentina for a nearly 6 months, so joining Sirius was the most logical choice for them. LETO, wich is a sub-alliance to Asteria got 2 new members - France and Canada. The France's ancesstion was helped by the signing of the so called "Rubber agreement" between Serbia and France allowing Serbia to have access to the vital rubber in Bordeaux, Aquitane.

However Serbia's road has been rough as of lately. After an unsuccessful attack on Bulgaria, several countries attacked Serbia. Croatia liberated Istria and attacked Slovenia, while organizing RW in Serbian accquired regions in Italy and France. Meanwhile Spain attacked Serbia from Southern France and taking the vital rubber in the process. To make matters worse - Chile airstriked Switzerland in order to gain border with Serbia. Currently an NE on Serbia is being voted in the Chilean congress, but the current results show that the NE law will pass.

Bulgaria has been controlled by Romania for months without a chance to have congress. However after the expelling of Romania in Spain this enabled Bulgaria to free their six core regions. Romania tried to reclaimed the region, but to no avail and both sides signed an Non Agression Pact, which was broken after Serbia declared war on Bulgaria. Later and new NAP with new conditions was signed, but for how long this will last.

In Scandinavia after the Macedonian threat was eliminated the United Kingdom launched an attack on Norway's mainland regions. These regions were conqured, but Finland attacked UK from Nord-Norge. Moreover Moldova(from Belgium, which was airstriked prior to the NE UK) and France attacked UK as well. However Poland initiated an attack on Moldova earlier today.

That's it for now
Yours,
