[MoFA] We need ambassadors

Day 1,086, 03:50 Published in South Africa Romania by SA Min. of Foreign Affairs
Become an Ambassador

Oke new month and we need ambassadors again this month. Me (Fhaemita Malodorous) and my deputy Damien Wolf have changed the system up, currently everybody can just picks a country randomly they want to be a ambassador to but this will be changed the upcoming month. We have made a list of country based on priority where we want a ambassador too. These are country both friendly and unfriendly and Eden, Phoenix and neutral countries.

Because of this new system everybody has to reapply again to be ambassador to one of the countries in the list. We will pick people based on skills, language spoken en also time already served as a ambassador to a certain country will be taken in consideration as you might have build up a relation with the country and the people. This mean that people might not get assigned to the country they where ambassador to before.

Ambassador Appointment and Eligibiligy

1) Be a citizen of eSouth Africa
2) Have the ability to communicate at least in English and preferably the language spoken in the country you are an ambassador too.
3) Be willing and able to spend at least one hour every week on ambassador activities.
4) If possible be active on the forum and irc channel of the country.

Once appointed, all ambassadors must read and sign the How to be a good ambassador threads under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs section of the forum. Once this is completed they have the right to post their official Ambassador title in their forum signature and any other official communication.

All ambassadors are subordinate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and serve at his or her discretion. The MoFA has the power to appoint, dismiss or reassign any ambassador to/from any post for any reason, or to intervene in any ambassadorial exchange for any reason. Only the country president (CP) supersedes the MoFA's authority in ambassadorial affairs.

Manditory requirements

All ambassadors are required to submit an Embassy Report by the end of the first and third Sunday of each month (once every two weeks). This means collecting all of the required information and completing all of the required tasks indicated by the embassy report. Please let us know beforehand if you have reason to suspect your report may be late.

Ambassadors are also required to register for the eSouth-African forumThis is where foreign policy is discussed and embassy (and other government) business takes place. t is also highly recommended (but not required) for ambassadors to be familiar with the eSouth African IRC channel for instant chat. Anybody is welcome in this channel, and you will often find the MoFA and other government ministers here who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
