[MoFA] The Alliance of Hydra

Dear Citizens,

For a long time, the Netherlands have been establishing and strengthening relations with not only our fellow alliance of Orion but other alliances such as Asteria and Hydra alongside the fellow member countries of thboth alliances.

Our friendship and knowledge with Asteria are quite well known which includes the support given by the likes of Serbia and Bulgaria who rallied to our support many times. However, this article will be directed to the friendship and bonds of Hydra.



Hydra was first founded by a group of 4 nations consisting of France, Latvia, Lithuania and Macedonia under the Charter of Hydra with the means of mutual defence and strengthening of bonds.

However, 1 of the founding members France had departed from the alliance for many reasons. It came at a bad time as oth Asteria and Hydra was losing to CODE with France being wiped and fellow members such as Macedonia were emptied despite all their support given.

In response to Article 5, Macedonia responded with airstrikes to France to help and relieve the occupation with the loss of its colonies however after a Anti-CODE government, France signed an NAP in order to try and babyboom the country at the same time Asteria were unable to accomondate regions but Latvia stepped in by giving terriroty for TW. After 2 months of the NAP, France withdew despite the support given by the other 3 countries which resulted them changing sides with the quote "the alliance wasnt working".

What is the current staus of Hydra?

After a harsh few months of occupation for not only Hydra but also Asteria, the alliance once again thrived and grown alongside remaining close with Asteria with the usage of TW trains to compete against CODE especially on the fact the alliance itself is small.

In terms of cooperation and relationship we have with them, we have engaged ourselves into TW operations with Macedonia in Egypt which we, Macedonia and Egypt all enjoy the current TW cooperation.

For a while also had a TW ping pong war in the friendly territory of Latvia which allows us to have more TW with both Latvia and Lithuania who we also enjoyed past cooperations with such as the defence in Dutch cores amid the threats by CODE including the possible war with Ireland regarding the sea connection borders.

Our airforce priotised several key battles to support the defence of Hydra nations include the defence of Lithuania against Albania and the massive support we been given during the operations against Bosnia & Herzeogvina and Ireland where all 3 Hydra nations played a key role in our victories.

Most recently the battle with Slovenia although a loss Latvia had provided massive and notable support for us. But also the support we have given for Macedonia earlier today in their fights with Chile.






The Netherlands are proud to establish such freindship with Hydra and we will continue to maintain our friendship and supprot to the Hydra nations of Latvia, Lithuania and Macedonia
