[MoFa]Sweden has a heart for UK
Foreign Office
Questions for Swedish President
The state of the eUK is pretty unstable, and although we seem to be experiencing triumphs more often, many of which are thanks to the uncertain condition of Canada (see our last MoFA article), nothing is certain.
Recently our relationship with eSweden has been strengthening, especially as some of eUK’s more familiar faces currently reside there. Should anything cataclysmic happen to the current alliances, there have been multiple instances where eSwedes have expressed a desire to remain close to Scandinavian nations and UK. Whether this would involve forming a new local alliance or attempting to maneuver ourselves in a larger common team, who knows at this time. Either way the eUK has been exploring various options to try to improve our standings in the eWorld, one of which involves Sweden opening up their borders and making them more accessible to our citizens.
All you need to do is to look at a map of the eWorld to see that Sweden is currently holding 8 regions and, as a result, the bonuses that come with them, so any citizens who move there would be able to capitalize upon this and increase their production capacities to more consistently high values. Recently our Minister of Foreign affairs, Mittekemuis, was able to interview Snaskefar, the CP of eSweden, to get his view on things
.
First a bit of history about a previous merge with Denmark:
<[RED]QueenMitte> I hear eSweden once had an agreement with Denmark but it didn’t last long. I would very much like to hear about what went wrong with your merger with Denmark for starters?
Next the language barrier:
<[RED]QueenMitte> The language could be a major issue ,especially when you have a large forum community that doesn't speak English?
<[RED]QueenMitte> In what ways do you think people in Sweden are different from the British people?
You also have a lot more fun and interesting forum games that have been a lot of fun in our party with Invalidation
And then how things would be different if anything happened between us and Sweden:
<[RED]QueenMitte> So what would you do to prevent what has happened with Denmark?
Also let them be a part of the government. I myself gambled and put Thomas765 and KainPropan in the Swedish Military and Invalidation just started as MoDA. So far everything has gone perfect and I hope it does my entire term.
<[RED]QueenMitte> How many people you can take in per month?
<[RED]QueenMitte> What if UK decided to break with ONE, not saying that is going to happen. Would that bring a strain on the relations?
<[RED]QueenMitte> Anything you would like to say before we end this interview?
<[RED]QueenMitte> Thank you Snaskefar.
And so ends the interview and the article.

What about me?!
omggg my name is mentioned!!! Nice article Mitte and I hope the relationship between UK and Sweden will grow stronger.
definitely read the title slightly wrong at first....
Sweden < 3 UK
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Sweden ❤
So, should all of us become Swedish citizens and begin a Nordic Empire?
o7
Maybe I will move to eSweden. o/
I had developed quite a hefty respect for the eUK and its fight for freedom against three opponents (im Irish in RL) but to see that many are willing to abandon ship is quite disheartening, fight on lads through whatever they throw at you and in the end you can only have victory. Talk about a merger only when you are standing tall with all your regions or you will entering a deal as the weaker party and thats not a place you really want to be i hope. However i will be the first to admit i dont have a clue how this game works i really just log on to look at the map and maybe make some food and weapons every now and again 🙂
Epic 40% bonus Sweden, when will you announce that the plan is officially to move there to gain this massive bonus Talon?
There is more to eLife than economic bonuses.
What? Like roleplaying being from another country? lol
