[MoFA] Presenting the Irish Secret Service
Irish Foreign Ministry
Good morning to all,
This is the first major update from the Foreign Ministry so far. I have had a very very busy week so far and I think you can recognise it from the amount of talking I've had to do with VPs, Presidents, and such.
New Brothers? Maybe...Maybe Not...
First, let's start with a few negotiations and their results which I have over seen. I had posted this update in the Private Dail in full for view of TDs and Cabinet members but here, for the public, I will have to censor a few stuff and publish it.
"A lot of weird stuff has come up my throat this time as Foreign Minister. The most weirdest of them all was that Iran, a Phoenix member and a prominent one at that was willing to quit Phoenix and join Bros. Both Patton and I were stunned at this and we of course decided to investigate this. I have sent PMs to the Iranian government and have received no response till date. (Maybe cause I don't know Persian). Meanwhile, another government reportedly interested was Bolivia but they have clarified that they are and will be members of Sol.
Also, on a more happier note, Czechoslovakia wishes to join us as Bros. Soon after their declaration of neutrality, I contacted them and they confirmed today of their interest in joining Brolliance. Negotiations will begin tomorrow hopefully and they will, I hope, lead to the best result.
And finally, on a most happiest note, South Africa will soon be taken in as one of our brothers. Ireland, Japan and the two elder twins, Canada and USA are eagerly waiting for the delivery of the baby. I have had confirmation from their (SA) President that they have voted for joining Bros. Also, for formality, I have received approvals from President danyeo of Japan, Vice President SaraDroz of Canada and Mr.Hyphenated, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, of the USA. Though Australia and USA's Presidents are yet to confirm, I expect it only to be a formality. Meanwhile, Patton and I have also given our approval."
A lot has come and gone since that update I gave in the Dail on the Foreign Affairs but I can tell you this with regard to certain countries.
Czechoslovakia
We have had negotiations with their President smrtan, in which he was specified of the requirements of Brolliance and other stuff. He has also promised us full commitment and devotion of his country to the alliance should they join the alliance. The motion for joining Brolliance has currently gone to vote in the Slovakian Parliament and following the analysis of results, the Irish Minister of Foreign Affairs will be conducting negotiations with other Presidents (Especially American President Harrison Richardson) and MoFAs as we see mto have hit a roadblock with regard to admission of new members.
South Africa
South Africa, as you have read above, was welcomed as a future Bro by many countries but the United States of America seems to be having some problems with South Africa joining the alliance and thereby expanding it. In response to South African President mulderpf's PM seeking approval, President Richardson wrote
"I am against expanding the brolliance at all. I respect South Africa a ton and welcome them as our allies, but I think the brolliance is an agreement between the US and Canada and I have no clue why it was expanded.
HR"
Seemingly, we have hit a barricade and we are looking to sort it out with the President. This disapproval might soon extend to Czechoslovakia if they decide to join us too. So Irish Foreign Minister, Santiago Hortez stated that he intended to "conduct negotiations and get an amicable solution from them". If not, he also admitted that there was a possibility of this going into a Brolliance vote conducted by Presidents of all nations. The outcome of such a vote is obviously known as all other Presidents have accepted SA joining Brolliance, according to Mulderpf.
The Irish Secret Service Inaugurated
Meanwhile the Irish Secret Service (ISS) has been started by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Santiago Hortez. The New Building can be seen here located in Cork and Kerry. Inaugurating the building, Santiago said that the ISS will be headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs himself until the next Presidential elections when the Director shall be appointed for three month terms by the winning candidate. The new logo was also unveiled along with the motto of "Secrecy is an Art, And We Are It's Masters".
He said that all IDF personnel were automatically listed as members of the ISS, whose main function is ATO work in Ireland and in the allied nations. More news will be revealed later in a Press Release by the ISS Director and Minister of Foreign Affairs himself later. Also, he stated that contrary to expectation, the ISS came under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs directly and had nothing to do with the Ministry of Defence or the Irish Defence Forces.
That is all for this update of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and we hope you stay tuned for more.
Thank You,
Santiago Hortez

Hilarious....i see the secret service has already had its cover blown. We tried this before in the form of the intelligence ministry which failed miserably. Why? Because if you waltz up to people and say "hello, Im from the irish secret service, I need to ask you a few questions" they'll proceed to run a mile. An undercover intelligence network is the only thing that ever worked in ireland, I can state that with confidence.
Ha ha, and we are posting about our secret service for all to see? Glad to see we are discreet...
~And it is not Czechoslovakia, and it Slovakia. It will only be Czechoslovakia when Czech Republic is totally under Slovak control, which will hopefully not happen.
As to the Secret Service's existence being known, we all know eUK had the MI-5 and has the MI-6, I'm sure. And eUS too had CIA. All this was known publicly.
"if you waltz up to people and say "hello, Im from the irish secret service, I need to ask you a few questions" they'll proceed to run a mile."
-We're never going to do that. That is common sense. We spy without being spied.
"An undercover intelligence network is the only thing that ever worked in ireland"
-Undercover it will be. Yes. Heck, you wouldn't know an ISS agent if he was your best friend.
Also, this is an ATO-cum-intel force just like the US Air Force was in the eUS. So don't tell me you don't know of the existence of that publicly. Now it is known by the name of Strategic Air Command.
Gonna be interesting to see who's friends with the org though
I pick 007
Did the Irish Foreign Affairs minister just legitimisse Czechoslovakia?
Hmm... Maybe some of our friends in the Czech Republic should see this article.
As I read, Hungarians aren't so happy of the Czech declaration of neutrality and the negotiations of joining to the Brolliance🙂
Hey! I can speak Hungarian! I could be useful🙂
You are an idiot. I have no faith in you and can see you ruining Ireland.
@Kavrocks: If that was addressed to Tibhos, I agree. If that was to me, I disagree.
"Hilarious....i see the secret service has already had its cover blown. We tried this before in the form of the intelligence ministry which failed miserably. Why? Funny...you were wrong about the purpose of the Ministry then, and you are still now, after many attempts to point it out to you.
I agree with Bryan simply because, as he said, it worked so badly before in the form of the Intelligence Ministry.
Also, I cringe at the mention of "Czechoslovakia"!
The Ministry of Intelligence was a badly named diplomatic corps, nothing more.
Interesting..... I wouldn't have taken this approach. Too traditional. A true intelligence network is one that is unseen, unknown, and incredibly selective in who is and is not an agent. The fact that you are advertising it's existence, and I mean literally advertising it, is really quite... I don't even know the words to use. lol *shakes head*
"all IDF personnel were automatically listed as members of the ISS"
So if they know we're in the IDF, then they know we're spies.. Grand. Never expect a man with a gun to be their enemy, would they?
Shall serve as best I can but in this case, you should have gone for the unsung hero.
Obviously the work of the ISS (cool name btw😉 will need to covert but the fact the org is public shouldn't impact on that work... provided the donation and friends lists are kept clear. It's great to have a central point for the collection of intel from the public. We all have our part to play, especially when it comes to anti-political takeover activities.
Geez, this is a polarized topic if I've ever seen one.
Yeah, ISS is a cool name...pity it's already taken by the International Space Station! lol
Nice way to keep the secret service secret...
A bloody ad and all?
/facepalm
Secret not secret
IDF Personnel don't go about spying. They're going to be doing ATO Operations and if I am not mistaken this is common procedure in the world. I my self have been through it during my time in the US, where Mobile Infantry and other servicepersons were called up for USAF service.
My mission was in France to be precise. Iam sorry, I didn't clarify on that one.
And like I said, it's just the org that is public, not it's activities. In fact, no one except me has the activities dossiers as of now. And again, we know of the existence of eUK's MI6 and MI5 and eUS had CIA at one point. And, eIran had "Eyes and Ears of the Shah". They all had public organisations but within them were deep secrets never revealed. So making orgs public and even advertising them isn't a manifestation of making the ISS's activities public.
Huh.
That's interesting.
♥
I also believe that the Mirror Universe Enterprise went by the label ISS Enterprise. So do we all wear goatees? Really, everyone knows countries have spy agencies so how does that make them less effective. You just don't tell everyone who works for it and what they do.
*high fives O'Shea*
And less of the bromance please, I want a proper position, statement, and analysis on Japans invasion of eSK, and our stance.
It's a bl***dy disgrace the way this is being handled right now.
its gonna be a lil eden. a little slice of heaven xD
The President gave our stance on eSK in case you didn't notice.
Santiago, don't be stupid baby, that wasn't a stance, it was a personal statement and a brush-off.
But now you have written an article, I see.
Good.
I hate elitist attitudes from public service suits.
Try a little sugar on it honey...
it's your e-job, after all.
oh, btw, when i was running intell, you were one of my files.
lmao.
"IDF Personnel don't go about spying." Thanks for explaining. But why are troopers in the ISS? If this had been kept a secret then troopers could have been privately mailed and you've got a solid, loyal spy. Otherwise, your looking at civs.. and how do you know their loyal? Most likely because they announce how much they love eIreland all the time, and therefore have already blown their cover. Stepping on your own toes with this one..
I know, that we know about other secret services but because we know, we look out for them. We could have had the eWorld believing we are all to disorganized/drunk to come up with a secret service!
Or maybe.. this is a ploy to make the eWorld think you are running this secret service like twits!
Then thats grand! Fooled myself really.
😕 But really.. toes.
Oh come one guys! It's not as if he's listing the names of the ISS...
Fair play to you Santiago, it's clear that you're doing lots of great work and the amount of votes this article has got is testament to that. Super stuff 😃
