The Canadian Ministry of Finance is pleased to announce several new funding mechanisms for events that will benefit all Canadians! Read below to find out a bit about each one.

1. Funding for Canadians who help create a D4 epic

Beginning as of today, Day 5,043, the Canadian government will provide payment to those who help to contribute to the creation of government approved D4 epics.

A Government Approved D4 epic is basically one that has been announced before hand by a congress or cabinet member. These planned d4 epics will normally be announced 4 or more days before the epic is to actually take place, with a clear time of day for the epic to take place.

Canadians who assist in creating these epics will receive cc based on the amount of damage they did before the battle became epic. The rate of pay will depend on the rank of the player. For those who are ranked Legend XX, the rate of pay will be 25,000 cc for every 10 billion damage dealt. The payments will only begin once 10 billion damage has been dealt, and is pro-rated after that. For any player who is not ranked Legend XX, the rate of pay will be 50,000 cc for every 10 billion damage dealt. The payments will only begin once 10 billion damage has been dealt, and is pro-rated after that.

While the payment is to encourage Canadians to contribute to an epic, it should be noted that only those who are ranked high enough that they don't use up many bars should help contribute. It may be better for most Canadians to simply assist by dropping half their food fight damage so that the epic is created more quickly and at less cost for those significantly helping create the epic. It will leave enough energy for those Canadians to then benefit from fighting once the battle becomes epic.

2. Funding for Canadians who help create an air epic

Beginning as of today, Day 5,043, the Canadian government will provide payment to those who help to contribute to the creation of government approved air epics.

A Government Approved air epic is basically one that has been announced before hand by a congress or cabinet member. These planned air epics will normally be announced 4 or more days before the epic is to actually take place, with a clear time of day for the epic to take place.

Air epics will be much less frequent than d4 epics, as they require more resources to create.

Canadians who assist in creating these epics will receive cc based on the amount of damage they did before the battle became epic. The rate of pay will be 25,000 cc for every 500,000 damage dealt. The payments will only begin once 500,000 damage has been dealt, and will be pro-rated thereafter.

Again, while payment is to encourage Canadians to help create, if a player doesn't at least have stinger to push to 500,000, they should avoid helping and simply drop half their food fights in order to assist in the creation of the epic, and also benefit after the battle becomes epic.

3. Funding for Prestige Point button opportunities

A small fund has been made available by the Canadian congress to enable the pushing of the +1 prestige point buttons for the benefit of all Canadians when those buttons come available. These buttons will typically appear in the likeness of the "Love" button or "Let It Snow" button. There are normally 2 or 3 instances of this per year. They are limited time, so any events will be announced with up to 24 hours notice, but could be as little as 8-12 hours notice before an event. All Canadians are welcome to participate in order to receive extra prestige points at no extra cost to them, and without the need to create an epic battle.
